This guy shows no interest in actually helping patients. He’s extremely hard headed. If you question anything he says or try to be more proactive about your own health he gets very defensive. He told me on several occasions that I need to just take his advice, he’s been doing this a long time. Really!? He’s extremely lazy and has his assistant handle a lot of his issues. If your patients wanted to see your assistant Dr. we’d make appointments with her.

The last, and I mean, the last visit I'll ever make to Dr. Michael Bailey, I had made an appointment for an on going pain in my upper, right, inner thigh. I'd seen him more than twice for the same issue, each time with no diagnosis. This last time, I asked for an x-ray or MRI, to which Bailey replied, "well, those are awfully expensive". I should have told him, that's why I have insurance, but instead, I went along with his approach. He proceeded to show me how to stretch, as if that was going to correct a chronic issue! Finally, as he walked me out of his exam room, he proclaimed, "well, I think we're chasing unicorns here". WTF?! As I said, that will be the LAST visit I make to that quack's office!

Dr Bailey is an excellent physician. He has been my doctor for over 20 years and I trust him fully. He is patient, listens carefully, explains fully various options for treatment and their expected results and risks and does not overprescribe medicines. I recommend him without reservation.

Dr Bailey needs to retire. I would not recommend him, period. He does not show care for his patients. I went to him regarding a lump on my throat. He squeezed it and said it was just 'fatty tissue' due to my age. I requested to see a specialist, however, Dr Bailey was adamant it was nothing serious and it was nothing to be concerned about. Reluctantly he referred me to an ENT (Dr Bayer in Camarillo) who ended up diagnosing me with Thyroid Cancer. 3 Weeks later I was operated on and my malignant thyroid gland was removed.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bailey and this office for over 8 years. I am very happy with all the services and attention i've been receiving every time i have been there.

He just doesn't seem to be up to speed on medical knowledge. He is friendly enough, but slow on the uptake. He will discuss things and answer questions, but you have to pry it out of him. I cannot point to any errors, but he does not inspire confidence.

He's pretty nice, but just super rushed, literally I was still asking questions as he was backing out of the office. Told me I needed to get an xray and the burse would set me up. She brought a neck exercise sheet. He just acted like he had no time, I probably spent a total of 5 min with him
