List of William D. Goldie's Reviews
Can I show NO star at all? This DR should be ASHAMED and embarrassed to call himself a DOCTOR of medicine. He treated- or rather spoke to us for my niece's health issue/PAIN- we did the usual question and answer and check up- after everything was done in a very brief visit- he literally laughed and said it was all in her head. Even if it was- for him to laugh and dismiss her- us- was just lacking ...
Dr. Goldie treated our daughter with TSC from age 3 to her death at age 26. He is a wonderful doctor and was a god send for our family as we weathered a very difficult storm. I appreciated that he told it to us strait even if it was hard to hear but he also listened too. Children with seizures seldom have a seizure at the doctor's office. You must advocate for your child to allow him to provide his best services. He was always on the cutting edge of seizure research. As a result, our daughter had the benefit of everything new out there. It was very eye opening to check into CHLA and need to bring my own medications because not all of what was working for our daughter was in their pharmacy!
My son saw Dr. Goldie as an infant. For every visit we had to wait between 3.5 to 4.5 hours. Everyone did who was in the waiting room, even though visits lasted no more than 15 minutes. This speaks to someone who thinks only his time matters, but he was the only pediatric neurologist in the county, according to the doctor's office. Moreover, Dr. Goldie rough handled my son in his exam. He dropped him so carelessly and arrogantly to test his reflexes, and the way he handled my then infant son was more like he was shoving a load of filthy laundry into the wash than handling a baby. His bedside manner would be awful with adults, much less kids. Dr. Goldie gives the distinct impression that he thinks he is better than his patients and their families and most are wasting his time.
My daughter has been a patient of Dr Goldie's for many years. She is stable today in spite of many conditions and I credit Dr Goldie for much of that.
My husband and I have been taking my son to Dr Goldie for his entire life. He was diagnosed with West Syndrome at 3 months old. We were turned away from several doctors before saying our son just had colic and he would grow out of these "spasms". Within minutes of an EEG Dr Goldie diagnosed us and got us the medication we needed within the day. After months of medication we started seeing results. Dr Goldie and his staff have always been on top of everything we need or questions we have. We don't know what we would do without this amazing doctor! Thank You Dr Goldie
My daughter has been seeing Dr Goldie for 24 years. He has been on top of all discussions and we have established a good relationship with him. Her epilepsy has been under control now for 10+ years and I am grateful that we found him so early in the "game". Thank You, Dr Goldie
Very rude and says there is absolutely nothing wrong with my son which has autisim and has been having seazures. says we are crazy
I can't even believe this doctor is still allowed to treat patience, he is a horrific human being with no compassion!! He miss-diagnosed my son and said my son should be referred to "as nothing but Autistic". A week later my son was diagnosed with Epilepsy by CHLA!
He said my son should be referred to as "Nothing but Autistic" and that he did not have epilepsy. A week later my son was diagnosed with Epilepsy by CHLA. Dr. Goldie should not be allowed to practice!!
DIAGNOSES EVERY CHILD WITH CEREBRAL PAULSY. HAS NO CLUE ABOUT EPILEPSY! NEVER!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
