List of Ashok Parmar's Reviews
I was referred to Doctor Parmar's practice by my primary care doctor 5-6 years ago. I saw different providers each time which was not a problem until I began seeing PA Wharton. He emphasized each time we that I was not to give my meds to my significant other which NEVER happened though he repeated it each time I saw him.
Worst pain management facility in Bakersfield, flat out the absolute worst. I suggest ANY pain management facility besides this JOKE of place. Wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE seeking help from chronic pain.
Rude horrible staff and the doctor legit pushed me and yelled!
Dr Palmer's place is the great place to stop by once a year although I don't mind stopping by every other year but that's good if I stop by best regards Michael Johnson
It is sad to say this, but front office employees are very rude. No idea how to speak to patients nor how to handle situations. This isn’t all of them but a good handful of them have no respect towards you. The doctors are awesome no problem there. It takes ZERO experience and time to put yourself in someone’s shoes and see the situation, but they do not do that. Being in the medical field is tiring mentally and physically because I do it for a living. Again it takes ZERO experience to understand you have no idea what the “patient” is going through!
I tried to ask a question, but dr. Parma cut me off immediately and accused me of just wanting more pain pills. He laughed at me and stormed out of my office visit. He left me in the office by myself and didn't say a word (laughing) I never got to ask a single question in all my fast office visits with Dr. Parma about my pain. Bad doctor don't use him.
Amazing doctor, great man
For all of you who are leaving nasty reviews about Dr. Parmar I would like to remind you that due to our government's intrusion into our medical care. It was decided that we take too many pain meds! They decided that ALL opioid pain meds should be stopped AND they have come down hard on all Doctors that continue to prescribe them. Most MD's will not prescribe them and have even cut off patients that have had them for years! The Doctors that are continuing to provide pain care are made to feel like criminals and are hassled by the DEA for doing it! So, I say Thank God for Dr. Parmar who is willing to get hammered by our government in order to bring you pain relief! It would be a lot easier for him NOT to do it!
Been going here for about 3 years or so plus always had a problem with the front desk having a Attitude problem maybe they need a raise or they just hate their job. I tend to have a issue when asking for a prescription refills over the phone at times I called 8 days ago 06-09-22 and a rep said she would submit the request and it takes 3-4 days ok cool never heard anything someone called me to reschedule my appointment tho. So it’s Friday 06-17-22 and I called to seee where my prescription is and they said they never submitted it that’s funny I called on 06-09-2022 and they stated they would submit the request guess they played me over the phone and lied 🤥 .. thanks for having me wait a extend amount of time for my pain management pills 💊 hire a whole new front desk they always grumpy anyways
This place is a joke! Ive been calling for weeks to try and make a appt, no answer! Can’t even leave a message. But the front is fully staffed? They just want to give you pills but don’t really care to listen to other options or things your are concerned about. I am definitely looking for a new Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
