Boyd Johnson's Online Review Report Card

I had a UTI he was very nice and explained himself, I will definitely go back. My primary Dr is in Kingsburg and couldn’t get me in so went in and I am so glad I did. Thinking of changing Dr.

Dr. Boyd Johnson is the friendliest, most professional and best informed family care physician I have ever had. Even when I was hospitalized, there he was, checking on me and reviewing my chart to make sure the ER doctors had done the right things. He visited me every day in Kaweah Delta hospital, until I well enough, and then he made sure I was released without having to wait all day!

Very slow lobby. Hour + waits EVERY visit. I had a major shoulder surgery last year. My last visit with this office was my initial follow up. I had dozen of stitches, yet they decided that because they overfilled their lobby that I had to sit outside in 114° heat. After an hour, every incision I had burned like fire from the sweat. My shoulder was soaked. I went in and told them I could no longer wait outside. They told me too bad, so I requested to speak with Dr. Johnson who proceeded to tell me these are OSHA protocols for covid. I reminded him that OSHA protocols involved having proper ventilation, adequate spaced seating, and you don't overfill your lobby. I ended up firing him on the spot from my case and found a much better office where the doctors are very knowledgeable, I'm getting the treatment I needed, and the waits have never been longer than 15 minutes. Avoid this place like the plague!

Worst staff I have experienced in all my life! Dr is “nice” but just a face putting in time. He has no passionate for his profession or his patients! THEE most unproductive office ! They never follow through with anything. There is only one nurse in there that takes any time for people. Not sure why she would want to be connected to such a disgraceful work environment! All they do is answer phones “slightly listen” then go about their personal biz on their phones with no follow up to take care of what the patient called about. You get put on hold never to be picked up again. Must keep calling back and disturb their personal space to get ANY follow up. So unprofessional it’s maddening. I have never in 65 years had an issue with any dr I’ve had. ( this is my husbands office and I am pushing him at this point to just get another dr.) only thing consistent in this office is lacking the ability to be productive and care for your patients! DONT get stuck with this Dr.!! They couldn’t care less about your pain or your death! I honestly don’t know how he stays in biz!

He is a very good good, competent Dr. Do you need help, go see him. I have him as my Doctor & he really cares.

He’s a great doctor, and knowledgeable, too. He seems to genuinely care about his patients.

My 5 stars are ONLY for Doctor B. Johnson. He's very professional, takes time to listen and explain. He's an excellent Doctor and I have nothing but Good things to say about Doctor B. Johnson. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the Staff. They Don't follow up on Referrals or Phone Calls. I have experienced these issues more than once. Apparently it's not just me, my Grandson had the same issue. I believe the Staff is overwhelmed and Need more training on handling referrals and returning phone calls. I managed a medical clinic in the past, so I'm familiar with what it entails to run a busy clinic. I also worked as a medical assistant, so I've been on both sides. It can be overwhelming because there's always so much to do, However Good team work is essential to successfully get the job done. The staff has always been respectful, hopefully they'll get some training and work as a strong Team for the benefit of the many Patients that like me are totally satisfied with the professional health care provided by Doctor B. Johnson and his PA's.

He took care of our mom with thoughtfulness and care. Best Dr. EVER!

I love this Dr.... Wouldn’t think of going to anyone else... we have to wait no matter where we go in life, so not a bother... Staff has improved 100%
