Went to see Dr Montero about my back pain and he listened to my concerns. I felt like he truly understood what I was going through. He is kind and compassionate. He worked with me to come up with a treatment plan and I felt respected. Already seeing some progress. Thanks Doc!

I have had very good experiences every time I have seen Dr. Montero. He is a good, caring doctor. He has a very good education background which I find important and I find him to be caring as well.

Dr. Montero did NOT listen to my complex medical issues, not just pain from injuries and surgeries but also in medication allergies which collectively produced a horrific experience trying to work WITH him and the LAGS team in Ventura County. I can't tell whether he is defensive because their approach to pain management for non-sports or non-spinal injuries is ineffective and inappropriate or that they simply do NOT care about how much pain a patient must tolerate before seeing other providers
