Very helpful and friendly. Got an appointment right away and didn’t wait hardly at all. Was in and out with kiddos. She was kind and just gave the facts .. down to earth !!

She has been out family dr for 19 years and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is patient and kind and listens. She is methodical and thorough. She takes the time with each patient and has the most gentle touch. Her nurse Jeannie is awesome too… never once did my child feel pain with a shot. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Terrible experience. Had to switch physicians and should done so sooner. Poor communication rude nurse, no follow up, lengthy wait times, and Dr. Carpenter ssems to have a very unsympathetic nature towards her patients. Perhaps it is due to so many years of doing this. Additionally there was confusion with prescriptions and the office seems to have an antiquated system for setting and confirming appointments. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We brought our kid into this doctor as she was on our in-network insurance. We won't be returning, she was rude when it came to my husband not being vaccinated against COVID, proceeded to berede him about how irresponsible that is, stepped back as if offended by HIS PERSONAL CHOICE. She was dismissive and argumentative when we were giving her the details of our daughter being sick.

Dr. Carpenter is my 4-year-old's pediatrician since birth and we both really like her. She has a calm presence about her - grandmotherly I would say - which my daughter responds well to. She is a wealth of knowledge and gives pertinent advice. At the 4 y/o checkup she let me know what to expect from my daughter in the coming year such as it is normal for kids this age to tell white lies and how to prepare her for her baby brother that will be here in a few months. Overall we are very pleased!

We did not have a good experience with Kelly Carpenter. She made us feel extremely worried about our baby being jaundice when everything suggested otherwise and told my wife the only way to gage how much breast milk she was producing was by pumping. Our baby is doing amazing and breast feeding is going perfect. Lactation consultants and midwives would be disappointed in her with the information she is handing out to fragile new mothers. She might have a lot of “experience” with education and time working but her ability to relate to children and mothers needs help. Seems like she just wants you to keep coming back just so they can collect co pays and insurance claims. Graybill medical group has let us down again.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Has taken care of my son since he was two days old, and HE loves her. Her nurse Ginni is also fantastic, best Pediatrician in North County!!!
