Tara Clancy's Online Review Report Card

It isn't often I review a Dr. But Dr. Tara Clancy is so exceptional that i want to post a review. I've been with this office as a patient for approximately 6 months. Being at this office reminds me of many, many years back when you were actually seen, listened to & cared about as a person. She actually sits down & asks meaningful questions & listens to your answers. I have presented a couple of complicated health issues to Dr. Tara, as well as grieving the loss of my husband and she has persevered with me trying to resolve them. I honestly can't say enough good things. Her office is a bit of a drive for me, but so worth it! I highly recommend her.

Dr. Tara Clancy has given me wellness and continues to maintain my good health. She listens and helps me design ways to stay Healthy and Happy even at 80 years old.

I’ve been seeing Tara Clancy since 2019 and I have never been impressed. She is nice enough but under-prescribes and refers out on EVRYTHING. She always put a lot of emphasis on my weight and losing weight. But even after I struggled to lose weight with diet and exercise she refused to prescribe a weight loss supplement that I used in the past, that successfully helped me lose weight. Today she denied me anxiety medication for an MRI and told me to go to my orthopedic specialist for it. Same with my daughter. Dr. Clancy also denied her ADD medication even though and it had been prescribed all her life by her pediatrician. Doctor Tara cares more about her medical license, than your medical symptoms. She does the bare bones minimum and denied me treatment because she is too scared to prescribe medicine that is potentially addictive. And if you have pain, do NOT go to her! Pain medication/controlled substances is a hard NO for her.

She lied to me when I was in devastating pain from side effects of 4 new meds from another doctor for 4 months. I could have been pain-free within two weeks if she had called the prescribing physician to get me off the meds. I could not figure out why I was not being taken off these meds that were so debilitating. She told me on the last visit to her that she didn’t call because she didn’t want to get involved. OMGosh! So upset that she left me in that pain for months when she could’ve stopped it immediately. I don’t trust her anymore and will never go back. She can deal with her own conscious.

This office has failed to follow up with me regarding information I needed from the doctor several times. When it happened the last time I left a one-star review. thinking that like typical businesses that get reviews they would look to see how to make it right, instead Dr Tara Clancy told me that she was discharging me as a patient and I should find another doctor and be "more careful with my reviews"-Which is fine just weird. You're not the only doctor Tara.

Dr. Tara Clancy is one of the best primary care doctor I've seen . Never have problem getting in for appointments she referred me GYN that was able to help me with some female issues. Doctor Tara Clancy is the best in North county

Great practice. The office is clean, excellent wait time, and friendly staff. Dr Clancy listens and write down all of the topics we discussed so if she need to go back and review what we talked about in previous visits, it will be there to jog her memory. They also provide email account so I can review all my visits (fees, purpose of visit, etc). I took away a star because they at times refer Dr/practice that are in the network without doing research on how good/bad they are

She might listen to you, nod her head BUT she DID NOT HEAR WHAT I WAS TELLING HER! If you have a THYROID ISSUE ... don't waste your time ... she tells you your bloodwork is fine. Then I asked for a referral to see a thyroid Endocrinologist, she tells them that my problem is pre-diabetes??? Even though my levels are fine!!! ??

You've found the best doctor! She took the time to really listen to ME and gave suggestions no other doctor had said before. She truly knows what she's doing! Her staff is very professional. I also appreciated being in a clean new building.
