List of Graybill Medical Group - Melrose Office's Reviews
First time coming to this building/office and it was a great visit ! Front desk ladies were very nice and did their job quick ! They also do it very thoroughly and take their time with you! It is a great office and highly recommend for getting a check up/doctor visit !
I have gotten better care at the local community clinic with zero stars. First of all, they changed their phone system and you can't even make an appointment now. You have to speak to a representative to ask them to send a message to schedule an appointment just so you can get a call hours later to let you know that there are no appointments available. My doctor is great but their system is trash.
Horrible, wish I could leave no stars. If you have tri care don’t bother trying to get a referral or anyone who cares about you health problems here.
This is the worst medical provider I have ever experienced in my life, and I've experienced a lot of crap in my time but they take the prize for worst in my book. The nurses and staff are the most miserable disrespectful people you'll ever have the unfortunate experience dealing with. They simply don't care. Here's an example: I just called to schedule an appointment with my primary doctor (who's never available and I have only seen once during my initial intake. Instead I get an inexperienced PA who treats me like an inconvenience.) and the woman who took the call after waiting on hold- for some mysterious reason can't hear me when I have full service. This isn't the first time this has happened at Graybill. I immediately call Scripps and the woman (who was very friendly and helpful) could hear me just fine. I didn't move from the same spot I called Graybill from. Maybe this sounds crazy but I believe she could hear me and was acting like she didn't so she could hang up, which she did. Stay away from this place. There's no reason to use their awful services when there's plenty of other options that a better. It's just a matter of time before they're sued for negligence or malpractice. Don't let yourself be a victim of their incompetence.
Patty. Her name is Patty. I deal with extreme anxiety. Dr. Cueva is AMAZING! (Clearly because she is hard to get in to see) and she has helped me and my mother for YEARS with the hardships we have dealt with as a family. I have made several attempts to reach out for an appointment but they only give me appointments that are too short of notice to tell my boss, "hey I need to go get my medication from my doctor. Should be back in 2 or so hours because the nurses always leave me in the room unattended for SO long". With how many times I have to go see a Dr, this takes a lot of money away from me and my company. During COVID, I decided it would be safe to not go into the office personally. I messaged my nurse practitioner and she said to call a number and set up a Telemedicine appointment with my PCP to refill my medications. Called the number. First gentleman was SOOOO helpful. He said he was gonna see about refilling me until my next appointment. I explained to him (more like cried to him) that it's been months that I've been able to take my medications and my grandfather has 2 days left to live. He put me on high priority and a nurse called me right away. This is where PATTY comes along. PATTY FROM GRAYBILL MEDICAL GROUP said "no. you'll have to wait another 12 days to do a video cam with your doctor for your prescription." Okay.... fine. Then PATTY has the audacity to say "look you're not the only one with a job or medical conditions. You'll have to wait like everyone else." Please note, she knows my grandfather is about to die. She's Inconsiderate. Rude. I asked for the manager she immediately said "she's busy." LOL have we all heard that before?!?! I said "okay I'll wait" and she said "like i said she's busy". So i said "should I just call the first number and ask to speak to the manager?" she said "I'll get her right now". Patty, it's not about my medications or dr. Cueva's busy schedule. I'm wasting time out of my day to address your awful behavior and your horrid customer service. I do phone sales. Your voice should simply just not be on the phone. You should not be representing a medical staff with the attitude you chose for yourself. DR CUEVA! Please come back!!! I know you are so understanding! You know my family history. You have a heart. Graybill, after reading all the other reviews, this is common. FINALLY got on the phone with the manager and WHAT DO YOU KNOW!!! got a telemedicine appointment next day. PSH patty 13 day wait. YAAAAAA right. Patty, your manager says you're an exceptional employee. In my opinion the tone in your voice is something you should practice recording, and listening to over and over, so you can actually hear how you sound when you speak to medical clients who have serious needs. Soon then you'll realize why I had to speak with your manager due to your lack of customer service skills. Thank you to the GrayBill Manager for resolving this issue. Hopefully this does not happen again.
This medical group keeps getting bad to worst. Just went in for ear infection. And sinus pressure. Nurse took blood pressure wring. Doctor assistant unprofessional. And worst they can do I just got out the room. And nurse come in spraying antibacterial air spray At least she should have wait for me to leave the room not I front of me. Which I found this offensive. It's time to find a different medical group leaving this group after 12 years. With them.
Close to my house but the employees here don't seem like they like their job. The nurse that took me back her name is Aira. She was very rude, didn't greet me just called out my name and told me to get on the scale, and just made it seem like she didn't want to be there. The front desk lady was busy on the phone and just kept yelling "if you have an appointment check in on the kiosk" which I get she has calls to make/take but did check in on the kiosk I just needed to pay my copay and the lady behind me was a first visit, so just get off the phone and take the clients in line. No issues with the Dr's...I will admit some of the nurses are nice, it's a hit or miss with this place sometimes everyone is nice and sometimes everyone is in a mood. We're human but you're at your job get it together!
This office is super close to home so it is very convenient. The office is pretty clean and the staff is super nice. I got seen really fast and the doctor made sure to check on all the things I was concerned about . I usually get the run around at my old doctors office with checking on my previous conditions but this doctor went above and beyond .
This doctors office is so close and convenient for me but I've had too many problem going here. They have argued with me that my deductible wasn't met and collected $100 dollar from me and then months and months later either sent it back as a check or put it as credit in my account without telling me. Constant confusion with the billing because it is billed so late. I've called billing before to ask questions before and they've been super helpful. Today I called and the billing lady put me on hold twice midsentence and wouldn't let me finish talking. I won't be returning to this medical group.
We have had difficulty finding a medical office that takes my wife's current medical group in the past and went through extra steps to make sure we avoided those same issues this time to no avail. We called in and asked if they accepted our specific medical group and 3 different people all confirmed they would accept our insurance with our specific medical group. We took our 6-day old twins (preemie) on a 40-minute drive to this Graybill office, filled out the paperwork for both of them, only to then be told that they ran eligibility and they won't accept our medical group! They told us, "Our doctor still would like to see you, we just need $300 and we've lowered your cost by 30%". I believe he said the 30% was standard with all 1st visits. This trip was a complete waste of time and my twins have to now wait another day to be seen by a medical professional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
