List of Ana Iten's Reviews
This review is only partly about the care that this doctor provided and more about the institution that this doctor works for and her complacency with its practices. We signed my spouse up for a preventative care exam, which we confirmed on the phone and in person the day of and would be fully covered by our insurance. When the bill came back, it was for a different type of exam, which the insurance no longer fully paid for. As background, during the exam, the doctor asked if my spouse had any issues. My spouse mentioned minor abdominal discomfort that she had had recently that she had had also since she was a child. The doctor then focused on this issue for the rest of the exam. My spouse had no intentions of focusing on this issue and went along with it. The doctor prescribed medicine which transformed my spouse’s minor discomfort into pain so she stopped taking it after a few days at the direction of another doctor we know. We would not trust this doctor to provide additional care.

Dr. Iten is very sweet, but she's a lot more directive than partnering. I moved from out of state and on the first visit she began trying to make changes to my care that my previous doctor and I had worked hard to arrive to. When I visit her, I feel like I have to fight for the agency to direct my own care. For some people that might be just what you want, but it ends up making me feel unheard and disrespected. My husband and son did not have to endure continual "second guessing" from her like I have. Maybe she just gives this extra pressure to women?
Dr. Iten is very assertive, direct, and knowledgeable. Her bilingual skills helped me understand my condition and treatment options. She took the time to help me make a decision and followed through, making me feel like she really cared about me. I highly recommend Dr. Elizabeth Iten.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
