I unfortunately did not have a positive experience here. The doctor is nice but everything else was really odd/stressful. I went to check on concerns about dots/itching on my elbows and the doctor took a biopsy to be safe. It ended up just being eczema. Also, when I was there at my first appointment and checking out, the two front desk nurses were arguing with each other in front of me and it made for a very uncomfortable/awkward experience as I was standing there. Lastly, and what I’m most disappointed with is that I had asked the doctor multiple times if she could check on my acne and maybe prescribe me tretinoin or something to help. It’s very mild acne. However, she kept pushing it off and pushing for me to make an appointment for each separate thing. Every time I would go there I had to pay a large copay so it frustrated me that she wouldn’t help me out even though the visits would be less than 20 minutes long. She kept saying that I needed a separate visit to assess everything. That rubbed me the wrong way and I don’t think I’ll be back because of these things.

My wife had a facial at Chi Dermatology and she loved it! Highly recommend it!

If you want a doctors' office that is dishonest and gaslights the patient then Ogechi Ikediobi - MD, PhD is the doctor you want to see.

Doctor Ikediobi's treatment of an acute full body rash was compassionate and reassuring as I was very concerned and an emotional wreck. She diagnosed and developed a treat plan to treat and resolve the problem. Her reassurance, support and kindness I will forever cherish.

We had the best experience with my toddler at Chi Dermatology in Walnut Creek. My kiddo was apprehensive about going to the dermatologist for the first time but upon entering, they offered him a juice box and goldfish (aka toddler love language) and he started to warm up. Dr Chi took the time to listen, got down on my kiddo’s level, asked questions directly to them, and solved the mystery that no other doctor has solved for 3 years. I’m considering switching to her personally too because of her focus on the whole picture. We did have to wait 6 weeks for her availability but it was worth it and now my son is excited to return. The office staff - Sharon - couldn’t have been more lovely and accommodating as well!

The staff is very warm and friendly. Dr. Chi was excellent at explaining my daughter’s condition in terms she could understand and took her time in learning about her lifestyle and how best to utilize her prescription. I would highly recommend this practice.

Everyone at Chi Dermatology treated me with incredible kindness and care. I had never had a complete skin examination before and I might not have been as comfortable as I was had they all not been so incredibly welcoming. They all listen to my reason for being there, my concerns, and made sure that I understood what we did today as well as what we would do in the future. Making eye contact, welcoming me with warm, sincere smiles, and grasping my hand gently in greeting made me feel comfortable, not like most doctor offices. I also feel extremely confident in Dr. Ikediobe’s clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills. I would refer and friend or family member with 100% confidence. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment!

All staff are respectful, kind, and clear. Communicating with both the office as well as Dr. Ogechi is easy and efficient. Dr. Ogechi is the best dermatologist I’ve ever had and I appreciate how she listens carefully, is very knowledgeable, and truly takes the time to go through each of the steps of a treatment plan. I feel very supported and I would highly recommend this establishment!

I’m so thankful that I found Chi Dermatology. Doctor Ikediobi and staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and make one feel very comfortable.
