Honest, patient and genuinely concerned Doctor.

Have seen both doctors, Dr Jue and Dr Chang....I've been going 25 plus years, husband went 10 years, (he didn't think he had to go) Dr Jue got me thru my husbands' sudden death. He has always listened, very, very seldom do i feel rushed. He is knowledgeable in current affairs of the globe.

Dr. Jue has been my PCP for 2 years now, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences. Whether I’ve needed specialist referrals for chronic issues, or when I had a severe anxiety attack and needed an immediate appt. All times I’ve interacted with him and his office staff have been pleasant and they have gone out of their way to assist me. I am especially forever grateful for Dr. Jue’s kind, compassionate treatment when I was struggling with my mental health and did not even know how to properly verbalize it. He gently validated my feelings, tolerated my crying, and carefully explained all treatment options in the clearest way possible. His support and care was impressive, and he even knew to run a thyroid test- I later found out it’s not necessarily standard practice yet to consider a thyroid issue when someone presents with anxiety. But low and behold, I had a slightly hyperactive thyroid result on the day after a massive anxiety attack. The follow ups since that day are regular and every conversation I have with him about my health is productive. I’m so grateful for Dr. Jue.

Doctor Jue is an excellent doctor. He listens. He is knowledgeable. He cares about his patients. He is personable.

Don't like the this clinic at all, Customer service is not good either.I got billed overcharged when it supposed to be yearly checkup and when I called they ignore my calls and told me it will take one month to revise.

Ive gone to Dr. Chang and Dr. Jue for over ten years, they are thorough and always available. Dr. Chang makes sure to use every opportunity to check in on my health basics, adding annual blood tests to appointments where Im coming in for various ailments. Their office is great, the staff is always super helpful. I dont usually write reviews but when I see some of the negative reviews I feel compelled to weigh in. I personally recommend these two to many friends. In fact I just did so today.

I had gone through many doctors before i accidentally found Dr. Derek Jue. I felt that my prior primary physicians mostly dealt with my illness in a black & white and not willing to work with me. They just keep prescribing medications that had bad side effects keeping me from working or living my life or functioning in the society resulting to additional disability instead of getting better. I was shock on my first meeting (6 years ago or more) with Dr. Jue that he actually sat there listening to me giving me his attention and provided me with easy to understand information about my auto immune. Since there is no cure yet for my illness, he is agreeable in prevention and managing my illness at very minimal or no oral medication. I like how on any test results, he personally calls to speak to you about it (it feels that Im important to him to give me his time).... wow! not all doctors this great. With his advice in monitoring & self awareness of my illness, I am working and enjoying many activities that i could not have done with previous doctors i had (I may be much more disabled already if I didnt listen to my gut feeling or instinct). I dont have plans to be on wheelchair when i retire so i want a doctor who has the same goal as i am. Thank you, Dr. Jue for listening to my concerns!      2nd review: ive been his patient for almost 10 years and suffice it to say... i loved their service. I really dont want to give a great review as i want to keep Dr. Jue to myself to get the service ive been getting. The more people see him, he may get busy and i will have to find time to see him.      i like the fact that he has time to listen and sometimes he tells me that he has been researching other methods to treat my auto immune (ITP) plus recently...sciatica and we would try which treatment/method will work. Each time i had a flare up and he is required to refer me to specialists.....i end up more worst. In the end after giving the specialists a chance,  i end up going back to Dr. Jue to let him know that im refusing to be seen by others and would like him to treat/manage my illness as he had done before and we did well. He suggested other alternative methods and i got better as well as back to work. i get a one stop shop with Dr. Jue (e.g. blood tests, urine tests, pap smear, etc) which saved me time (you need to check with your insurance coverage or with the office staff) going to quest diagnostic or lab corp where you wait a long time before you get care when other doc requires blood work & they dont do blood work. the staff are like my family (friendly and helpful). Though Dr. Jue is only primary doc but he is way better than my past primary doctors. remember: it doesnt matter who your doctor... it is still up to you if you are the kind that rely on medications only that can also add other damage to you because of side effects or take control of your own treatment with alternative methods as safely as possible to live longer. you need to tell your doctor which one are you and decide if you want to work with them or not. for sure, thats what i did and dr. jue happens to be the kind of doctor that is also willing to try alternative methods to avoid medications if possible but only prescribed it for on a need basis. again, the responsibility still falls on us to control the addiction on meds or not. choose for your betterment to enjoy your life to the fullest.

Dr. Chang is a fantastic doctor. He listens to you. He personally visits with you and gives you practical, solid medical advice. He helped me over the years many times. I consider him the very best. His staff is wonderful too! Thank you, Dr. Chang and staff! I will definitely recommend Dr. Chang to anyone who wants a smart, reliable, experienced physician. A+++

Dr. Jue is quick to diagnose, and does little for his patients once he makes a diagnosis. He seems to be an intelligent man, yet he lacks empathy. I’m sure he is great for people suffering from common colds. However, Dr. Jue is not a doctor who should be consulted for anything other than a mild cold. I would not recommend using him as a primary care doctor.

Dr. Jue laziest doctor around. Does very little to examine you, where you wait for 30 min to an hour, and he takes less than 5 minutes to check you problems and leaves. Appointments don't even matter, I had an appointment, and yet I had to wait an hour for him to be available, where I then saw him sitting in his desk. The staff is not helpful at all, the young hispanic lady at the front desk is rude as well, sounds like she doesn't like her job.
