Diane Kwan's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Kwan performed my gastric sleeve in November of 2022. Her office is very efficient with gathering information and scheduling appointments. All of my appointments were Telehealth, and that worked great for me. Dr Kwan listens well and addresses concerns. She didn’t minimize any of my concerns when going through the decision process. Don’t underestimate the commitment required for success. There are many health tests ahead of time (which identified my hiatal hernia), and you need to lose some weight to show you’re serious. But I felt her office and the John Muir support (nutritionalists, support groups) were readily available and responsive the whole way. My surgery was without issue, and that along with hard work has changed my life for the better. EVERYTHING is easier now! It’s a journey but definitely worth the commitment. I was confident in Dr. Kwan the whole way!

I had a very outstanding outcome following my bariatric sleeve surgery and I know it is all thanks to God and Dr. Diane Kwan, she is excellent in what she does, and she is compassionate and listens, but also gives very good sound feedback. Dr. Diane Kwan is Awesome anyone who has her as their surgeon are in excellent hands.

I had weight loss surgery (bariatric sleeve) about a year ago with Dr. Kwan. She was really good about explaining everything, walking me through all the process and answered any questions that I had regarding the surgery or after surgery. I had a problem with one of my surgical incisions about two weeks after the surgery and she helped me with the diagnosis and it cleared up. she also was there pre and post surgery for any help or questions I needed. The surgery was also really good too and the recovery was quick. Overall very satisfied with everything from Dr. Kwan.

Dr Kwan has been a lifesaver for me. Weight loss surgery is going to put less weight on my legs and back. She's a professional and a delight to talk to.

Dr. Kwan performed my gastro-bypass sleeve surgery. I can not say enough about how wonderful Dr. Kwan and her staff are. So competent - answered all the questions - always was there helping with concerns. And especially so personable. They make you feel like family. I would recommend her always.

I had Gastric Sleeve and Hiatal Hernia surgery on September 29, 2020. After doing a lot of research on surgeons, I choose to contact Dr. Kwan. From the very first appointment, I knew she was the surgeon for me. Dr. Kwan is very easy to talk to, communicates thoroughly each step of the way and makes sure that you fully understand the entire process. She never hung up on a telephone appointment until all my questions were answered. Her staff is also top notch and made the entire process so easy always staying one stop ahead of me with appointment and answering questions. If you are looking for a compassionate, skilled and thorough surgeon, Dr. Kwan is the one for you.

Had RNY and hiatal hernia repair in Nov 2021. Dr. Kwan has been very supportive, and clear about the process every step of the way. She prepared me with plenty of pain medication for after surgery, well, her surgery was so precise that I never, not once, needed to take any pain medication. This surgery was absolutely painless. I guess I can say, everything turned out perfect! I am currently at 125lbs. and could not have done it without her support. She does video visits, which I prefer, because I do not like driving. She takes the time to respond to all the multitude of questions I always ask. She is very knowledgeable, and always shares important information such as support groups or other pertinent information to help this be a successful surgery. Thank you very much Dr. Kwan!!!
