My appointment started on time. The team was very kind and took the time to explain everything. Dr. Bortz was gentle, caring, and answered all of my questions before, during, and after the procedure.

Great Physician & Dermatologist Explains your condition and procedure patiently and thoughtfully. Very skillful surgical technique. I know that he is a physician's physician as my referring doctor has made clear. You will not find anyone better. We are extremely fortunate to have a Dermatologist like Dr. Bortz in our community. This is the second time that I have needed his services.

They made sure to remove the smallest possible amount of hair, and someone on the team even braided sections of it to help preserve as much as they could. Dr Bortz is a very skilled practitioner and I would always recommend him to anyone in need of this kind of procedure. I have had many cases of basal cell carcinoma removed and there is virtually no scarring.

Dr. Bortz and his staff were terrific. I received excellent medical care. In addition, everyone from Dr. Bortz to his assistants to the staff at the front desk were all nice, caring, and clearly explained everything. And I must especially mention Dr. Bortz's scheduler, who tracked me down even though my dermatologist's office had given her an incorrect phone number for me!

Dr Bortz performed moh’s surgery on my jaw line for Basel cell excision and on my arm for a second one. He had previously done a similar procedure on my scalp in 2018. The office is extremely well organized, friendly and professional. I never felt anything but sight ping when pain killer was provided. Each step was explained well as we proceeded. Dr Bortz is a pro and exudes his competence and confidence. I would not go anywhere else for this surgery.

While I was going to have to wait months to get MOHS surgery in my city, Dr.Bortz was able to get me in within a week after my consultation. He was very thorough and went above and beyond to describe exactly what was entailed in the procedure. He gave me different options if I wanted to save myself the scar, but I wasn't willing to go with just hoping to get all the cancer. I appreciate Dr. Bortz for his utmost professionalism, but also his getting to know me beyond MOHS. I hope I see him on the courts playing pickleball. Game on Dr. Bortz!
