List of John Muir Walnut Creek Imaging's Reviews
I don't write reviews but after seeing all the negative reviews I have to say that was absolutely not my experience today! Fantastic place, quick, efficient. I was called in within 3 minutes, saw a doctor within 5 minutes and had to get an ultrasound. They do them right there!
I had a great time with this Urgent Care, up until I met with the doctor. I paid 50 dollars for the visit and I got less than 5min (I believe around 2 min) of the doctor's time. I asked him more questions regarding other medical problems, which he responded "I have no time". Very disappointed by the lack of care for patient here. The doctors name was Gurinder S Wadhwa, Do. The front desk representative was wonderful and the nurse.
Not happy with J. Muir tests.I was in midst of Covid-19 attack with 102 to 103 F Temperature for over a week, headache, and 9 out of 10 symptoms and in generally a bad state.Went to scheduled Muir drive-up for testing along with my spouse. Both returned negative! Can't believe it!Then I recalled the Muir test procedure......nose swab, sealed samples in plastic bags with identification attached, ID info entered into computer terminal on table located outside at test site. THEN....bagged samples were placed in thin styrofoam box about a cubic foot in size....Box was on the ground in front of the table....IN THE DIRECT HOT SUN!!!.......and it was 89.6 degrees air temperature at the time!!!Wonder why the tests came out negative? My guess is virus samples did not survive the heat!Muir needs better test protocols and just good sense!
I'm very upset, I bring my grandmother here really often. Your front desk are not very nice. I really miss Kristen and Dorothy they were really nice and professional, I felt like they really care.

I recently visited the JM Urgent Care in Walnut Creek for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed! The fact that you can make an appointment is a great relief. The staff was courteous and I did not have to wait to see the Dr. (Elizabeth Davis). She was professional and pro-active and got me feeling better right away. This clinic is very well run, organized and professional.

The front staff is okay. The doctor I saw was unsure of herself, hurried and had little bedside manners. I guess she had more patients to see so she could make money doing very little to no doctoring. I was in excruciating pain and evidently she didn't believe me. After leaving the clinic I left her urgent messages and she didn't bother to reach out or return my calls. I kept calling Urgent Care and they gave me different stories as to why the doctor was not returning my calls; either she was gone for the day or she wasn't there that day. Either way I always thought doctors had access to their emails 24/7. Maybe she is only a doctor when she's on duty. I finally got her on the phone after calling the Urgent Care Clinic from Monday through Friday. She gave me the wrong diagnosis after reading the MRI, however she ordered something for pain after I had suffered for 5 days straight. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will never ever go back there for any reason.
What a nightmare!! I went there because I was in excruciating pain. Saw Dr Manghani who had no clue about medical care. She seemed very insecure and unsure of herself. She recommended an X-ray and MRI. I promptly scheduled an MRI which is more definitive than an X-ray. During the visit I was hesitant about getting pain medication and wanted to try over the counter medications first. I waited for a couple of days to see if the over the counter medications would work. They did not and have not. I sent an urgent message to Dr Manghani that I needed to get something for pain until the MRI was completed. My messages went unanswered for 24 hours. I tried calling the clinic once again and requested an urgent message be sent to Dr Manghani about the pain and if she could prescribe something until I got the MRI. To this day I have heard nothing back from Dr Manghani. John Muir Urgent care finally called me three days later and said I needed to return to the Urgent Care clinic to see another doctor to get something for this unbearable pain. I don't know if it's about making money or these doctors thinking I'm a drug addict looking for a fix, but I can assure you it is not about patient care. Patient care has been lost in the rules and regulations written by the government on how to treat patients. Doctors are filled with suspicion about patients who are honest and in real pain. I am appalled that marijuana is more easily to obtain than a legal prescription for a legitimate condition.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
