Not happy with J. Muir tests.I was in midst of Covid-19 attack with 102 to 103 F Temperature for over a week, headache, and 9 out of 10 symptoms and in generally a bad state.Went to scheduled Muir drive-up for testing along with my spouse. Both returned negative! Can't believe it!Then I recalled the Muir test procedure......nose swab, sealed samples in plastic bags with identification attached, ID info entered into computer terminal on table located outside at test site. THEN....bagged samples were placed in thin styrofoam box about a cubic foot in size....Box was on the ground in front of the table....IN THE DIRECT HOT SUN!!!.......and it was 89.6 degrees air temperature at the time!!!Wonder why the tests came out negative? My guess is virus samples did not survive the heat!Muir needs better test protocols and just good sense!

Frustrating hours of many phone calls to know what i might pay only to find a break down between parties that resulted in the difference tossed to me. What's more upsetting, and maybe this how our health system works, the doctor made an error in treatment that caused another issue. Weeks after I'm still trying to get someone from John Muir to let me know what responsibility they take in the medical costs I now facing.

I went to John Muir Urgent Care at Treat Blvd with a bad sore throat and was attended by this very nice nurse named Mirela and this very good doctor named Dr Hollander. I was seeing less than 15 minutes after I arrived. All the stuff at this hospital were courteous and nice to me, I recommend this facility to anyone who needs an urgent care. I am feeling much better now thank to you guys!Thanks!

So - I don't know exactly where the blame belongs (medical records), but it ended here. We were trying to get medical records released and made several attempts over two weeks without even getting to talk to anyone. During the third week was told that a release form will be mailed. A week later, nothing in the mail. Called again and was told the form was available on line. Took the form down and was told to allow two weeks for the request to be processed. To be fair, I gave JMH in Concord 5 stars in their care of my brother who in all likelihood would not be alive now without them.
