Dr Bertram is retired from Private practice and the site has errors in phone numbers and addresses. Dr. Bertram works only at Rogers Behavioral Health in Walnut Creek and only sees patients in the program there. Dr Bertram hasn't been in Orinda since 2017 and hasn't been in San Pablo since 2021.

Very insecure psychiatrist who pretends to be empathetic about patient’s misfortunes, but becomes condescending and disparaging when she hears that patient’s life has turned around and if she perceives that patient’s life is now better than her own from a social and financial perspective. Creates falsehoods to make patient feel inferior, probably as form of mind control.

First of all,,this system would not let me rate her less than a xxx and up until her practice closed, I would have given her xxxxx. I saw Dr. B for 17 years and relied on her heavily. (Crazy). She told me I was her favorite patient, gave me her personal phone number, and helped me on weekends. After she told me she was closing her business I was lost but respected her. Bottom line is I ran into some problems with my Rx’s. She would not help me. She wouldn’t respond to her texts. As for her personal number? I WAS OVER IT. My heart was broken. Should be more careful with words in the business of psychiatry.....JUST SAYIIN...

She is by far the BEST physician AND psychiatrist I have ever had the privilege of seeing. Aside from the therapy, she diagnosed my conditions that baffled other doctors for 50 years. I trust her completely and know that she is doing the best for me. I moved out of state a few years ago but still fly back just to see her for maintenance updates. She listens, asks questions and gives feedback-something most psychiatrists I have visited decline to do.

I have been seeing Dr Bertram for a year now, and have been very pleased. She has helped me to face my root problems and address them head on. I was not just medicated and sent on my way. She is straight forward and caring. At first I think I wanted some medication and did not want to really change but she helped me to truly change. She saved my life and my marriage. Thank you

I have seen many doctors and find Dr Bertram really cares about me and my son and understands how I feel and what I am going through. She even checked up on us when she was out of town.

I had to wait a few weeks to see Dr. Bertram but when I had my first appointment she was thorough and thoughtful. I went for therapy and had my antidepressants adjusted and was surprised how much progress we made in a few months. It worked well for me that she does both psychotherapy and medications.
