Meghan T Hession's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Meghan Hession is warm and caring and perhaps most unique, she is an expert at both medical and cosmetic dermatology. My primary recommended Dr. Hession as we were seeking out someone who my two teenagers would be comfortable with and who could guide us with a realistic and effective regimen that would be easy for them to follow day/night. My two sons felt comfortable with Dr. Hession immediately and we will be seeing her every 4 to 6 months for a check-in. I was so impressed with Dr. Hession that I have started seeing her too. For medical check-ins as well as guidance on best daily regimen. A bonus...the medical related treatments are covered by insurance - yay! The front desk is warm and welcoming. One can also tell that Dr. Hession's team likes and respects her and are also warm and caring. We highly recommend!

I've seen Dr. Hession for many years now for injectable's and I just want to say she is one of the best injectors who really knows what she's doing. Im always happy with the results. She is very caring and warm towards her patients. As long as she is in the Bay Area I will seek her out for my injectable needs! I've also seen her before for skin issues and she always knew how to diagnose and treat the problem effectively. She truly knows what she is doing and is passionate about being a dermatologist and it shows in her work!

I changed my dermatologist after many years and I'm so glad I found Dr Hession. I feel like she listens and has solutions that help my situation, but most important she has skills and confidence and a staff that she respects and vice versa. We are now on a journey together since my husband has decided to join her practice. Onward!

Dr. Hession is very patient, genuine, knowledgable, and experienced with treatments, and she always listened attentively to my concerns during my visits. She came up with a customized and affordable treatment plan that tailored to my needs, and I really can't thank her enough!! Meghan is wonderful! What a smart, kind doctor. Not only is knowledgeable about Dermatology but she is also quite artistic with cosmetic procedures. She makes my lips look so beautiful while still remaining natural looking. I just love her!

Dr. Hession is a wonderful doctor who immediately saw and diagnosed some precancerous skin changes around my lips. I follow up with her regularly and will always be very grateful to her for catching this before it turned into something far more serious.

Excellent Dermatologist Dr Hession is an excellent physician who is very kind and gentle.

I've been going to Dr. Meg for a few years for some skin issues (sun spots, adult acne) and she has always been professional, listens to all my concerns, and recommends the best treatments. She's also has proactively caught some cancerous cells on my arm before they became an issue. Love how personable she is, never rushes appointments and really takes the time to evaluate multiple issues in one appt.

I fear writing this since the doctors have your personal information. I also have utmost respect for private practice having family in the business. I have NEVER written anything negative towards a doc office. There's a lot of good reviews and some may be legit. I believe this office fits a certain person. 1. When I got there for my appointment they were late taking me in w no apologies.No biggie. I was happy to wait. 2. When I came next I called out of courtesy to say I was going to be late. People...I was late 5 mins due to a family issue. I have the time stamp on my meter. Here's the bad part. Without empathy and with a condescending tone they told me I had to wait an indefinite time. So when they're late...I wait. When I'm late...I also wait l. 3. The doc is very nice but they forgot to prescribe something they said they would. I didn't even want to deal with them so I got it from another doc. 4. The treatment prescribed highly inflamed the skin and I needed help asap. When I called to see if they could see me there was no empathy (as most staff would start with). They weren't willing to fit me in. Ok I get it. That's your business philosophy. Listen there's lots Derms and they're all talented prescribing the same treatments. Why go here if you can get a more personalized service with another office who will treat you just as well or maybe better. OR maybe they're great and there's something particular about me that lends to their treatment. Don't know.
