I lost my mind, my job and almost took my life because my psych couldn't take TWO MINUTES to explain to me the medication to help me with my sleep wasn't just that. I went there for my adhd medication and mentioned sleep issues briefly. It almost killed me. A few fucking sentences to properly explain an off label medication could have saved me all this pain. I never even had a history of mental health issues before I came here. I lost everything and almost my life.
I have been receiving esketamine treatment since June 1st at MHS. I have experienced treatment resistance depression for over twenty years and finally got my life back. The VA Martinez is sponsoring the treatment. I have now completed twenty-six sessions, with about ten sessions to go. I can not say enough about the compassion and professionalism of the doctors (Hessenthalter and Huynh) and staff (Christian, Fernando, and Sierra). I had pretty much given up on having a joyful and productive life--all this change came while having a pleasurable and, at times, euphoric experience.Thank you, Mindful Health Solutions!
They didn't even bother calling when they said they would. I am glad I am in a better place mentally right now, but I cannot believe they treat people this way who are in the state they are in. They should be shut down.
I am happy with the care I get here. They are professional and committed to provide best care.
Blocked time onBlockededule for my appointment at 10:30am. Sat on Zoom for 30 minutes waiting for Dr......Nothing. Then I sit on the phone...on hold...for 30 more minutes for them toasd;lkfasdlkjfomebody reached out tell me the appointment needed to be moved. Sat on the phone for another 30 minutes. escheduled to 2pm...same day. Get on the 2pm call, nobody. They call me back stating they made a mistake by sceduling the replacement call, and needed to reschedule again. Thank goodness I'm not in terrible mental shape,e, or was hesitant about seeking help for mental wellness, as this definately etely wouldetfor sure would hve ave seriouslCan't really recall new customer service this bad. To their credit, they have very friendly staff, however that doesn't make up for my wasting rouyghly 3 hours out of my work-day for now benefit at all.
This place will charge you 175 dollars for missing an appointment, and if you're more than 12 minutes late you're considered a no show. Seems reasonable besides the hilariously high price, I understand they expect patients to be punctual. This policy is absolutely hilarious when taking into account how late the psysicians are however. Today I overslept and 13 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start I was told I'm being charged 175 dollars. Yesterday I showed up on time, even a little earlier than the 9 am start time and proceeded to wait 45 minutes for the doctor to bother showing up. Why is the depressed and dysfunctional person that desperately needs treatment held to a *higher* standard than the salaried doctors?? Do I get 175 dollars for my doctor being 40 minutes late? No, I don't even get an opportunity to be late myself without getting charged a huge amount. Why the hell am I held to a higher standard than the person I'm paying? Why are these doctors allowed to forgo punctuality altogether when I'm expected to be there within ten minutes of the start time or else be charged a decent chunk of my rent that month.
TMS is highly unprofessional. The doctor (Dr Natasha Woods) was consistently late by 20 mins or did not even show for tele-psychiatry appointments. They charged my credit card without an invoice or explanation of the charges. They did not respond to multiple queries for information about the charges. Then they deleted patient information (e.g., prescription history and appointment history) on their patient portal and I think this may have been to cover their tracks.
I have been a satisfied and successful patient/client of TMS Health Solutions in the Walnut Creek Office since January 2020. My experience with this type of treatment pre dates this particular facility having initially gotten treatments in the Oakland facility! My overall experience has been more of a culmination one; due to the amount of time and treatments over the last couple of years have demonstratively brought me to a place of being at peace with my mental processes to which I attribute to a well coordinated team effort led by Dr Joshua Kuluva. I spent many, many years on anti depressants some with a wide range side of effects and talk therapy to which I no longer use. They call this a no medication protocol! To which I'm extremely happy with overall because I personally abhor all the medications that Western medicine doctors want you to be on! This mental health treatment process has been able to stabilized my mental health and given me a second chance to mentally process things from a better perspective. My daughter once told a friend on a phone conversation "I feel like I got my Mom back" and this was after my first set of treatments! Now she's a patient/client of TMS Health Solutions as well because of her own mental health issues.I know that there's a lot of skepticism about this type of treatment but if you're seriously looking to get off of medication or in search of an alternative for mental stability sake take a look at this option. The staff (Bridgid Garcia, Sierra, Alexa) very professional and willing to help you throughout the process! But you must always remember that this therapy is a two way street...honestly, what you put into it is what you get out! I'll always be a grateful patient/client of TMS HEALTH SOLUTIONS! Many thanks...to Dr Kuluva and Bridgid!
I had time put aside two different mornings and no one called like they were supposed to for consultation.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
