I wouldn’t choose another surgeon. I was hella scared for my colostomy but she listens and puts up with my questions and worry and not wanting to do what she says but I end up doing it she definitely puts herself in your shoes and she understands especially when being sick your whole life its comfortable knowing you have a surgeon that goes out of their way to help you with any questions or appointments etc

I recently had colon surgery with Dr. Vanguri. I cannot express enough how wonderful she was as a person and how exceptional she is as a doctor. She was always available to answer questions-weekends and evenings. She treated me as if I were her family member. I felt well informed, extremely safe and at ease during this anxious time. I had multiple appointments with Dr Vanguri and each time she left a lasting impression on me. She spent sufficient time with me during each encounter and did not seem to be rushed at all. She gave me several practical tips for self-care. What amazed me the most was that she remembered our conversation to finest detail without having to read her notes. That tells me how attentive she had been to what I had to say. During the procedure, she made me feel at ease and everything went so smooth. She followed up after the procedure as well to make sure I was feeling alright.

Dr. Vanguri was fantastic. She is a talented and skilled surgeon who performed and excellent surgery on me. She was very knowledgeable and understanding and patient with me. We all would be very fortunate to have such a skilled surgeon as Dr. Vanguri to be our Dr. in such critical situations.
