There aren't enough characters allowed to say all I should about Dr. Dias. This review is long overdue. I realized I was waiting for the perfect words or someone to edit before posting when really what is important is to post this for other people to read no matter how poorly written. I was admitted to John Muir a year ago with a perforated intestine putting me into septic shock. Dr. Dias knew immediately what to do but I followed the advise of the gastroenterologist on call and waited hoping what they had me on when work. The next morning Dr. Dias came to ICU, said he watched my chart all night and I needed surgery. My husband and son were there and he answered all our questions like I was his only patient. I was scared but the last thing I remember before being put under for surgery was his nod of reassurance. Dr. Dias is kind, patient and very skilled. My situation could have been very different if he hadn't been at John Muir that day. I am forever grateful.
