She is the worst doctor that I have ever encountered.  For someone certified in measuring bone density she told me I could not have another surgery because I didn't fuse but refused to order a DEXA scan.  I waited months to see her and she would ask me a question and then simply tersely interrupt me.  There are only 1000s of autoimmune issues but she didn't think I had x so performed no blood work.  I could barely walk when I came home but I don't care if she teaches at UCSF.  One is better off going to an osteo immunologist or internist.  I called to see about a DEXA scan and received a paper in the mail on sleep hygiene and skin.  I broke out in hives and wouldn't be surprised if I got something at her office.  Her photo is really deceiving- cruel, and callous woman.

Will not look at the whole picture with my mothers symptoms. Now my mother is going downhill fast. Finding new rheumatologist ASAP.

NOT AT ALL! The issue is either language barrier, or in just trying to cattle patients as quickly as possible. She had no time for concerns, and did not allow me to finish my concerns being a new patient. She rushed me through the initial appointment. My first scheduled appoint i was 16 minutes late, due to traffic and road closure.. I have crippling arthritis, and they turned me away, was forced to reschedule. I was 30 minutes early to next appointment and waited 1 hour and 11 minutes

Have you ever gone to purchase a car & the car sales person cannot provide you with any information about the car?  That is what my visit was like with Rashmi, I left there knowing less about my issue than when I went in.  The only difference between Rashmi & a used car sales person is that she makes you wait 45 minutes to talk with her.  There are plenty of other arthritis specialist out there, I would suggest seeing one that actually knows something.

Dr. Dixit is phenomenal.

Dr. Dixit misdiagnosed me with osteoarthritis when I clearly had rheumatoid arthritis as well. I had all the markers for RA but this doctor said that because my joints weren't swollen enough and that I did not have RA. I had been previously diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome by a well known rheumatologist in San Rafael, CA.  I clearly had some kind of autoimmune disease because of my symptoms, but I was only 52.  Five years later, I have full blown RA with swelling in my knuckles so bad that I have to have my rings cut off. Had Dr. Dixit put me on Plaquinel before, the damage to my joints would not have been so bad. Now I am considering surgery on my right hand it has gotten so bad. All my records from this doctor say I have no RA, which as most people know affects some types of insurance plans, Being misdiagnosed seriously affects many aspects of your life, financial as well as medical. I hope this doctor see this review so that she will consider younger patients not having the swelling but still having the disease if tests are positive. My sed rate has always been high.

PRESCRIBED BAD MEDICINE I ENDED UP EMERGENCY. ALMOST DIED WITH CHEST PAINS, MESSEDRUDE, EGOTISTICAL. NO BAD SIDE MANNERS, CONTROL AND POWER. NO A GOOD LISTNER.

Dr. Dixit great Doctor. I had Fibro for 20 years that went undiagnosted. He has helped me get the most out of my life, without his help I would not be able to work and live my life to the fullest.
