List of Robert Y. Kim's Reviews
I had a really bad experience with Dr. Robert Kim in the ER and I just can’t stay quiet about it. He was not a nice man. He was extremely rude for a doctor especially for the ER. He was on a power trip. I left very upset. 4 days later I am still thinking about my interaction with him and how he could have been a much kinder and considerate doctor. He walked away mid conversation, and he lectured me. He also discharged me without me being ready to leave because to him I was not in pain or sick even though it had been only 30 mins after the medication was given to me. He basically forced me out of the ER and wouldn’t even let me defend myself. I have dealt with my stomach issues for a decade now. Dr Kim has no idea of my life or what I have gone through nor did he care at all to listen. I had seen a psychiatrist for 2 years up until May 23rd. As we tried a multitude of medications for my stomach from a bunch of different categories such as anti anxiety, anti psychotic’s, anti acids, etc. Nothing worked, nor were my symptoms caused by psychological disorders. Dr. Kim said that my stomach issues were psychological and to see a psychiatrist. Well Dr. Kim not only did i go see MY psychiatrist he think’s you were highly inappropriate to say that, and to shove it, he also faxed over to my primary care doctor his psychiatric diagnosis of me. What’s his diagnosis? NOTHING. Because I have no psychiatric issues whatsoever. I came to you for help. You put me down, and you basically kicked me out when I needed you most. I had to see my primary care doctor later on that day after my ER visit and I finally got the help I actually needed. I also am seeing stomach specialists as I finally was able to get a referral to UCSF for my stomach issues. I do not recommend Dr. Robert Kim whatsoever I would never recommend him to my friends or family. He didn’t help me at all, was rude, and if anything made my situation worse.

Dr. Robert Kim is an amazing Interventional Radiologist. He is very caring, competent and an extremely skillful doctor. He is absolutely the best in his profession. I would recommend him to all my close friends and family.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
