Good doctor overall ( my husband is the one who takes our son to the pediatrician for well visits etc), but recently we had to go to ER for something and after our child was stable, they suggested we find time with our pediatrician the next day or day after - unfortunately we could not get an appointment with her for another 10 days. This is not the first or only time either so not writing this based on spite or one incident. Hold times are long on the phone, cannot get a response for a simple thing like an appointment without waiting on hold for 15 minutes or being transferred. Very frustrating. We would want that our pediatrician make themselves available for existing patients if needed relatively quickly. Yes "if this is an emergency call 911", but what if it's a post emergency visit which is still pretty urgent??? Is the answer to go back to ER and wait and wait for a follow up visit?
