Sutter Urgent Care- Watsonville Center's Online Review Report Card

We were limited in the available locations to make an appointment for urgent care, and of course none of them were under a 30 mile radius from us. Although it's quite a trek to make, we had no choice if we wanted an appointment today and we chose Watsonville. It's an easy location to find and there was ample parking. The waiting room was big and there were 3 other people waiting. No line to check in and were seated for less than 5 minutes before we were called in. Everyone was nice and attentive, including the doctor. He even called to follow up on some additional instructions after consulting with radiology. Total time in urgent care including getting an X-ray done was 1 hour. Even though it's far, I wouldn't think twice in coming back if this was the only choice for same day care. Thanks for not making urgent care a horrible experience. Nothing worse than waiting and not being seen when you are sick especially on a holiday and on a Saturday.

For basic, same day minor medical issues this is a good option, especially if you are in network. The downside is appointments fill up fairly quickly, and if you haven't gotten in early enough you won't be seen until the next day. Probably still better than waiting for an appointment with your GP, but less same-day then would be ideal. I've been in twice, both times with bleeding wounds, both times in the mid to late afternoon, and both times appointments were already completely booked. They triaged me and advised me to go to the Watsonville Community Hospital emergency room (shout out to Watsonville Community Hospital ER, these guys take care of business pretty quickly and efficiently, and unlike Dominican Hospital you aren't likely to be given every test on the planet as soon as they figure out that you've got insurance) Back to Sutter. Better than going to the ER directly if you feel like you're on the border between needing to see a doc and being able to tough it out, but the lack of available appointments after about 9:00 or 10:00 in the morning on any given day is very frustrating.

I have received care at this Urgent Care several times in the past few years. I am consistently impressed with every aspect from check-in to consultation to treatment. All the staff I have encountered have been welcoming, prompt and caring. The facility has excellent parking and is clean and pleasant.

I felt totally supported during every moment of my visit to the urgent care center. Everyone was kind and competent and patient.

The nurses and doctor at the urgent care are very communicative and clear. The doctor, himself, was caring and patient and sounded very experienced. The negatives - appointments are needed, which seems strange for urgent care. The receptionists are a little abrupt. And even though I had an appointment m, I waited almost an hour to be seen.

Care isn't awful though staff are patronizing and condescending. Long waits even with appointments. Staff LOVE to gossip about patients and information is freely shared with outside parties.

I made an appointment online the day before I went to urgent care. So, I saw the provider smoothly without waiting. PA. Neumann was very personable and took great care that I didn't feel anxious during each test. His explanation was easy to understand.

Prompt & thorough assistance with medical emergency. Highly recommend.
