Ignacio Deartola's Online Review Report Card

The receptionist Maria was unable to schedule an appointment. She is completely unprofessional and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she hung up in my face. I called back several times but she must be the only receptionist because I had to call Anthem Blue Cross directly to get assistance. This clinic operates with poor standards. I fear for those patients who get disregarded disrespected and their medical needs neglected because of people like Maria who fail to do simple but necessary tasks such as answering the phone and scheduling appointments.

I started going to this clinic on June 2019 it’s been the worst experience of medical attention.. To schedule a appointment it takes 3 weeks to 4 and the Dr Ignacio is forgetful and doesn’t not remember to ask for a referral after 4 months of going here l finally got a referral. I went to see him on November 20,2019 I’m still waiting for medicine to be approved because they don’t follow up with nothing CVS called them on November 21 we need the Dr to submit a approval with anthem blue cross.Still waiting and every time I call the reception area no answer just a voicemail. I don’t recommend this place.

Iv been going to this doctor for years and he is absolutely amazing! The receptionist however can't seem to answer the phone for the life of her Any time I ever have to set an appointment with this doctor it takes days literally days for someone to finally answer their phone for me to be able to set an appointment right before I wrote this review I waited over 30 minutes and I still haven't been able to set an appointment! Leave messages and no Call back! And I hate the fact that you have to go over all your problems with a trainee before you actually get to speak with your doctor.

Im very happy with Dr. Artola. He takes his time and always has a smile when he sees you. Not only the Doctor but all his staff is helpful and easy to talk to. I appreciate all you do for your patients and Thank You.

Very effecient and professional doctor.

Dr De Artola is excellent. He is located in El Monte, but the building and facilities are beautiful. Part of the Catholic church. It was the Dr. my insurance gave me. I thought about changing to a Dr. in Arcadia or Monrovia, but decided to give him a try. He does deal with a lot of Spanish Speaking patients and I am not one. As I was waiting I thought for sure I would change doctors. Then once I talked to the doctor, I was sure I would stay with him. He is very patient and spends time with you. He answers all of your questions and has a vary relaxed manner. I was sitting in the chair when he came in, so he hopped up on the examining table, feet dangling, and we had a chat. I believe he is a doctor I can trust. Put me at ease and I was very comfortable.

Dr. De Artola is excellent! He spends time with you and answers all your questions. He seems to know what he is talking about and can put you at ease.
