Kindred Hospital San Gabriel Valley's Online Review Report Card

The only reason I'm giving this place 1 star is because that's the only way I can leave a review. It deserves less than ZERO stars! PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONES IN THE HANDS OF THESE PEOPLE!!!! They almost killed my aunt! She was transferred here from the hospital after suffering a stroke, (for her therapy) her health started to decline in a very fast manner while in the "care" of this facility. It was unbelievable to see the change and rapid decline their neglect inflicted on my aunts health. Long story short, after only being there for about 24 hours she was rushed to the ER in critical condition because of their lack of care and attention, overall lack of humanity. Thankfully the staff at the hospital were able to act fast and repair some of the damage. The hospital took note of the neglect and just overall condition in which she arrived in and did not allow her to return to Kindred. I'm so thankful she's finally out of that HELL HOLE they call a "hospital". - Her time at Kindred; she arrived aware, although unable to move or speak, she communicated with her eyes by blinking and by squeezing your hand or lifting her arm. I wasn't allowed to see her for 12hrs and when I finally was allowed back in she couldn't do any of that, she hadn't moved from the same position in which I had left her, her bedding and back was full of stool, lethargic, unresponsive and unaware, blood pressure dangerously high, elevated heart rate, lips stuck together with phlegm, she developed blood clots in the short amount of time she was there, she had a high fever, the staff hadn't even noticed any of this until I brought it all up to their attention, when I had called earlier that day they said she was doing great and was "peacefully sleeping" she was unresponsive that's what she was, there's a big difference. I couldn't get any answers from anyone, nurses were very rude, no doctors on site, they said I would have to wait 2days for test results. I just couldn't believe my eyes. She was improving and doing better when she was transferred, she communicated, in her way, with me right before I last saw her that the day that she was transferred only to come back and find her like I did, it was a total and complete heartbreak. This place is a NIGHTMARE! I felt like I was in a horror movie and there was no way out. Not to mention how dirty and unsanitary this place is, the machines are so old and loud you'd think they'd at least update that since they are crucial to peoples survival. This place is only interested in sucking patients dry for their money. Reading back on past reviews it amazes me how they're even still operating. Looks like nothings changed. I hope someone does something. These are peoples lives they're playing with!!!

The most horrible place to take your loved ones. Mysister was brought there from AV hospital she had amassive stroke. When she was taken to Kindred.followed the ambulance and was able to go inside thefacility with her. She was responsive and able tounderstand and communicate by squeezing my handand blinking. 12 hours later my sister was lethargicwith a high fever and full of poop. They didn't touchedher in 12 hours until I made a scene, I cried and begthem to do something for her. She developed bloodclots in 24 hours of being there because she wasn'treposition not even once. She ended back in thehospital 24 hours after her arrival at kindred. When she arrived to the hospital I was there all night long I couldn't believe what I saw. My sisters mouth  and eyes were completely sealed with dry brown mucus, they never suctioned or cleaned her and she had a lot of poop , imagine seeing your little sister in those conditions , my heart was broken and of course kindred didn't care I made sure she wasn't sent back to that shit hole nurses don't even speak English and they are rude careless no compassion in their hearts Kaiser hospital (Baldwin Park) did a wonderful jobbringing her back to life now she is at a different facility closer to home. We are praying that she'll be better at the place she is now and able to recuperate,   Please be aware of the danger we put our loved ones we are their voice. My sister is on a ventilator can't talk or move Kindred should be shut down before they kill more innocent people

Absolutely terrible staff they are rude and neglect to clean my mom up they acted surprised when I called them out on this behavior they changed the visiting hours without warning and I travel far so it really affected my time with her if you can avoid having your loved ones sent here please do my mom has had a horrible time at this place.

The staff at kindred west covina were so amazing. I was a patient there for 6 months and couldn't ask for a better group of people. My brother(38) was there and recovering from brain damage. He was doing well. I got a call on June 27th 2021 from a nurse saying that a nurse that was passing by his room noticed his machine was going off and he was vomited. When code blue was called they “worked on him 30 minutes “ but they were unable to revive him. When we got there there was NO signs of them even attempting CPR cause my brother was very thin and I know if they would of done 30 minutes of cpr he would show signs of broken ribs and blood coming out his mouth. My brother looked exactly how I had left him the day before. He wasn’t even repositioned since I had left him on June 26th at 7pm. He was also put in a room far away from the nurses station and alone. Hardly any nurses passed by there. I’m very broken and saddened cause of his loss. This hospital needs to be more considerate towards families that lose a loved one under their care. I am filing a lawsuit against them.!!

Avoid this place at all cost! There is currently construction that is very loud and disruptive!

The hospital itself needs serious upgrade.  I thought I was walking into a hospice from a horror film.  The end table and bed tray were so old and sticky.  Fortunately, most nurses are friendly except one who likes to kick you out.  The female CNAs who clean patient's diapers and beddings are thieves.  Be ware of the stuff you bring there! I leave my mom's expensive facial cream at her bed side and the CNAs steal the content.  They scoop out the cream with their finger so you can see a big mess and gigantic big empty finger holes in the middle of the cream. Also the food has plenty of room for improvements.

Staff are wonderful. My wife was there for a month. She was being very difficult. Combative, she even "coded " once. They saved her life! The compassion and care they gave we're unbelievable.

I completely agree with the post by Claudia D. My friend's mother was brought here. The husband no doubt punched his wife in the lungs to cause her condition called: Idopolmic  Pulmonary Fibrosis. This is caused by any interruption of the lining of the lung tissue. After he perhaps punched her in the lungs this can mess up the Avelie. That convert oxygen . After being used. Making it hard for the patient to breath on their own . With out a oxygen tank. The victims husband put a life insurance policy on his wife. Coincidently his sister Mary Humel of Walnut was worried about losing her house in West Covina Calif. Her son in law lost his job. The title company wanted  their money. They were perhaps threatening to put the house into foreclosure. So Merry Humel recruited the help of her two sisters . That helped end the life of the victim. How? While sister : Hellen Rodriguez would come into the cubicle where the victim was laying and inject the victim with Black Heroine. Her sister : Carmen Gomez of Covina was the look out. Hellen Rodriguez obtained the Black Heroine from the drug dealer of the family. His name is: Nicky Nixon of Sante Fe Springs. This criminal has a very long criminal rap sheet. For selling and delivering street drugs. His wife is the niece of Mary Hamel , Her maiden name is: Mary Murillo. Of the city of Walnut Calif. The niece is named : Diane Nixon , she is married to the criminal Ronald Gerbalty Nixon. He is from a violent street gang called : Conteranas of Sante Fe Springs , Calif. Diane Nixon is the niece of : Hellen Rodriguez , Carmen Gomez and Mary Murillo or Mary Hemal .  The goal was to inject the victim with Black Heroine and give her a over dose. Then get away with it. The grand daughter of Mary Murillo / Mary Hemal was named: Irene Carla Berdote . She lives in Whittier, Calif.  Her job was take pictures of the victim after the victim died of the Black Heroine over dose. So then after the pictures were taken they could be sent to the life insurance company to get a quick return on the life insurance policy. There was never a toxicology report done on the victim. The hospital allowed Hellen Rodriguez to go into the cubicle to inject the victim. She carried the black heroine in her black purse. There was never any investigation by the Covina Police Detectives or the West Covina F.B.I.  Why? Because the victim was a female Hispanic adult. If the victim was white this would be in the news. These criminals would now be in prison. This crime is called: ( Murder For Financial Gain ).  Mary Hemel or Mary Murillo , saved her house from going into foreclosure. From her brother's money from the life insurance policy he placed on his wife. Other sisters were aware of what was done to the victim. Even the cheap HMO doctor went along with the program. Why he got paid to turn a blind eye. Any person or criminal can walk into the patient's cubicle at any time. There is no cameras in any of the patient's cubicles. There is no security watching and monitoring who  comes into the hospital . No security inspecting all visitors purses or bodies for drugs or any weapons. Patients brought here will be carried out in a stretcher after pronounced dead. Many patients have a life insurance policy placed on them. Like hungry wolfs those ready to collect money from the death of the victim wait for the patient to die to collect money off of the victim. Now if the victim is white this would not happen. However ; If the victim is Asian , Black ,or Hispanic some one is going to make lots of money on this victim off of the life insurance policy. This Kindred Hospital was started in the White Racist state of Kentucky . That's why those that own this racists hospital do not care about people of color.  Notice how this hospital makes Yelp place all negative reviews in the not recommended section. Or makes Yelp remove the truth. This is called: Silence of a Entity based on Time of Discovery . Calif. Gov. Code: 911.23 and 911.64.  Before I placed this post about this White Racist , biased hospital look at all the one star reviews. This Kindred Hospital does not want the public to know the truth about how patients are treated. Also what really go's on a night and the early morning hours. People with street drugs like Black Heroine can easily be brought into this hospital. To inject a patient . Give the patient a over dose. No toxicology report. The employees are ordered to lie or be fired. No employee is allowed to talk about the corruption that takes place here. Or the patient neglect. This could be where various mafias sent patients to die and get away with murder. So far 60 Minutes has never done a under cover investigation. This racist hospital will hide behind the ,Shield Law. Bring your loved ones here. Your loved ones will leave in a stretcher dead. Patient neglect.  Very bad customer service. Who can prove what I just shared to be false ? Answer is no one.  Hell awaits all who have participated murder cover ups.
