When you call you are greeted with the most annoying robot woman voice ever. Wish they would have the regular people answering the phone or at least get rid of that disgusting robot voice, literally makes me feel sick to my stomach and I just tried to call today and nobody was there and it said to leave a message than it hangs up before you can even try

TERRIBLE, CRUEL! This person should not ever be allowed near the ill.

i had to have emergency surgery and this is who did it. He lectured me and was rude to me constantly while in the hospital. He refused to prescribe me pain meds afterwards too. He said that the Cures system wouldn’t let him. that the system cancelled them?! yeah right! it’s akin to assault. Plus he is full of it bc he would prescribe them today either, lol. what? run away!

My previous review was deleted!Dr. Candela did my pilonidal cyst surgery. The surgery itself was fine but the post-treatment of the surgery was a nightmare!1. He never provided proper wound care to my surgery area. He slapped a blob of cotton on my wound and expects my panty to hold it for the entire day! The cotton would come out of the wound minute I stepped outside! My wound was prone to infections and he kept going on like that for 8 months. Pathetic treatment to a patient!2.  He disregarded what my nurse who was visiting my home had to say about my condition of the wound. Completely brushing her off and going on with his own treatment which never helped to heal my wound.3. He did silver nitrate treatment and did not inform me that it would so painful and I was coming on my own to the office hoping it is a quick visit. In fact, I had cry outside in the parking lot to get over my pain so I could call the uber. It was a nightmare!4. He never prescribed any antibiotics for my treatment even after requesting it multiple times! Even though blood and pus were coming from my wound!5. At the end of 8 months of him looking at my wound he informed me that I would need another surgery. At that point, I realize this is his money-making scheme to get me to keep through that cycle.6. Thanks to Dr. Candela, I was on bed for 1 yr recovering from my pilonidal cyst surgery and never healed!7. When I visited another doctor, they told me there was 3 different kind of bacteria in my wound on the very first day!8. Please do not go to him! These positive reviews sound like a scam to me! Dr. Canadela needs to be board examined how he is mistreating and giving poor service to the patient! Please be beware!!!

Dr. Candela is always very professional and a and aa pleasure workwith. The same can be said of his office staff. He did a fantastic job repairing my umbilical hernia last year and, while I prefer to not need a doctor, it's reassuring to know someone as skilled and trustworthy as Dr. Candella is available.
