List of Tia Women's Health Clinic's Reviews
The clinic in West Hollywood is nice and the PA that helped me was kind and there was no issue with her. My issue is more with Tia as a company and lack of transparency with billing. I do not have health insurance and I called Tia prior to receiving services and they quoted me a price of $250 for the appointment. When I went through the online intake process I was under the impression that I had to do the virtual intake appointment. Nowhere along this process of making that appointment was an additional price ever listed or stated. I assumed the virtual intake appointment was built in to the price of the actual in person appointment. So I went to the in person appointment as well and was charged $250 for both. As someone who is forced to pay out of pocket for this I am really disappointed. The reason I called ahead of time was to make sure this would be feasible for me to do. All I wanted was to see a doctor, I would never have done the virtual appointment that provided me nothing if I had known it was going to double the cost. I wouldn’t have come to Tia at all. Just posting this in case anyone else out there without insurance wants greater transparency regarding price.
Yeah, I read the reviews and assumed all the people complaining about being turned away were excessively late. I just walked into the office and waited 5 minutes for the receptionist to tell me that because I "walked in 3 minutes late" the provider was demanding I be rescheduled. I am on a deadline and rearranged my workflow to be here; I drove 20 minutes in traffic then navigated their confusing parking garage undergoing construction. They can't accommodate me even though they were likely busy 3 minutes prior and wouldn't have checked me in right away anyway? I also waited quite a while on Saturday to be seen at a different clinic. Pretty striking lack of reciprocity that I find absolutely egregious in a company I've entrusted with my health.
This place was so hard to find. I was 5 min late and turned away for my appointment. I took the day off to come. It was my fault I was late, but the building is really hard to find and there's tons of construction everywhere. I was lost outside for 10min. I thought the business model was that it was supposed to be supportive for women but the policy is so hard and made me feel disposable. A grace period for first timers would be reasonable. Now waiting to see if I'll be charged. I haven't had a pap in 5 years and can't take off work again. It was unkind.
It's a scam. No upfront pricing. Won't let you pay when you leave the appointment. Says estimate would be around $250. Bill comes. It's $340. Wants you to pay $100/month. Won't let you pay all at once. Demands that you contact customer service, which won't get back to you. Sends reminder of the balance though. Why is it harder to access than a regular doctor's office?? How did they even accomplish this???? Who has the time to deal with it??
This was the most unacceptable and frustrating experience. I needed to get a pelvic ultrasound and spent quite a bit of time with the representative from Tia to get it scheduled. They don't offer ultrasound appointments in all their locations so I drove far to get to the West Hollywood location. I even hired a babysitter. When I got there, they informed me that I would not be getting the ultrasound, but the appointment was for me to hand over the prescription for an ultrasound that my provider had given me. They said after they entered that information they could schedule an appointment for me. Not only is the system completely unacceptable, but then they claimed at Tia that the representative on the phone had made it clear to me that I would be going to this location two times, wants to drop off a piece of paper, and once for the ultrasound.
Tia is out of my insurance network and I still choose to get my yearly check up here. Cute, clean, friendly and extremely considerate.
Wow what a difference Tia is! From the moment you walk in the vibe is so elevated and definitely not your usually sterile doctor office. I have been so grateful to find a clinic that feels so comfortable, welcoming and made for women BY women. And most importantly, the care is just next level. You want to dim the lights? A cute robe? Heating pad and lavender essential oil? It’s true the little things are the big things — I’m a fan for life. Thank you for being here 💘
A+ service I’m receiving care here to deal with menopause. Let me tell you something, the care I’m getting has made my life much better. I initially met with Dr Pegah. The two rx she prescribed ended up being the key things to help with all my symptoms. I’m sleeping much better which has been the biggest plus. Next, I met with Christina to try acupuncture as I’m experiencing chronic back pain. I’ve only been able to do one session as my insurance unfortunately doesn’t cover the service here for some reason. My last visit was with Dr Shreya for a follow up. It feels so good to receive such great care. Most importantly, I feel heard. Big props to Jocelyn for having such light hands that despite me being scared of needles (she didn’t know) - I barely felt it when that thing went in for my blood draw. Thank you Tia Care Team.

Any positive reviews are likely faked by the owner. The billing they do is fraudulent. I've been stuck in limbo with their customer care and yet they continue to charge my credit card. This place is not worth it. Besides, for being a healthcare place for women, they had a male doctor so my pap smear without letting me know until right before. I'm stuck freaking with Tia since the charged the wrong codes for my covered preventative care. This company is not worth the head ache.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
