What an amazing experience from start to finish. If you have hand problems, these are the people to see. From the nice lady at the front desk to the entire staff and Dr. Cohen himself, these are amazing professional and friendly people.
Just make the appointment! Dr. Cohen has seen my kids, my wife, and I on multiple occasions and we can't thank him enough. My hands are my life being a professional in aviation and I recently had an accident involving my left finger that required immediate ER attention. After leaving the hospital I contacted Dr. Cohen for follow-up and was lucky enough to see him later that very day and due to the fact he did not like what steps the ER took, he performed a corrective surgery to make it right. Everything has healed wonderfully and been fully restored to normal strength and movement, I only wish I had called him first. Dr. Cohen, thank you for your professionalism, your skill as a surgeon, your ability to listen and communicate effectively with kids or adults, and for your entire staff who mirror the same qualities and attributes. Thank you again for keeping our hands healthy and happy.
I love this Dr and his wonderful staff!! They always accommodate my schedule, get me in on time and make me feel so welcome! I won’t go anywhere else!!
Very thorough and cordial. Nice staff.
Dr. Cohen Literally saved my life. I was in a horrible car accident. A car drove on the wrong side of the lane and hit me front on. I had 2 broken wrists, one was shattered that both required surgery. Every step of the way to my surgery was easy, professional and attentive. The surgery went great and I am in the process of healing and I owe it all to Dr. Cohen And his staff. Especially the nurses who cared for me while I stayed overnight at the stay well facility. Thank you guys so much.
There are a small handful of people that are masterful at what they do. Whether it be a doctor, plumber, chef, or other discipline, just a small number are the top tier of their skill set. Dr Cohen figured out my issue in just minutes when other doctors and physical therapists could not. If you are looking for a hand specialist in the top tier, then you have come to the right place.
First of all, I didn't know I broke my wrist when I broke it. I waited three weeks to heal. But after three weeks, my range of motion barely improved. My supination was pretty bad. I could turn it approx. 15 degrees. I went to 2 doctors in Illinois. One of them was not confident. The other one said if we do the surgery, we might make it worse. Then, I started researching and found Dr. Cohen. I'm glad I have waited five weeks to see him after I broke it. Stacey and I emailed each other a couple of times about X-rays and how much surgery would cost etc. Dr. Cohen reviewed my X-rays before I even flew to LA. Stacey told me I shouldn't be late to visit and get treated by Dr. Cohen. A week later, I flew over to LA. Dr. Cohen examined my conditions on Monday and scheduled the surgery for Wednesday! He spent at least 1 hour with me explaining everything. He has a very good system where after the surgery you see the hand therapist next door for 4-6 weeks and then go to Body Logic Chiropractic. He calls it his secret weapon. The best chiropractic I have ever seen with unique approach. After doing all that, it's been seven months now. I'm 75% there. All the people around Dr Cohen is great. Don't hesitate to reach out. I have never seen a doctor like this. The way he approaches this injury is unique. Pros: The doctor is very confident. The doctor has improved the traditional approach to distal radius injury. He does not recommend casts/splints for most scenarios to get you back the ROM asap. The doctor, the surgery center, and the hand therapists are in the same building. You don't have to schedule for the surgery or get a different quote. There is a unique Chiropractor experience with Body Logic and Dr. Cohen. They massage and push your wrist to get it back to where it was in no time. Dr. Cohen takes X-rays himself and explains right away.
I found Dr Cohen to be personable and very helpful. He advised me against surgery (when another doctor had suggested surgery). He also gave some well needed advise on issues relating to nutrition and diet --which was extremely helpful and went above and beyond the call of the type of specialist he is. A big thumbs up.
My experience with Dr. Cohen was excellent! He knows exactly what to ask you and what to test for, to get at the root of your problem. I appreciate that he is honest and up front about your diagnosis. I also love that he takes a holistic view of your healing and offers some outstanding supplements to aid in the healing process. Dr. Cohen also has a great staff that are very personable, just like he is!
I would like to start off by saying Dr Cohen is a top notch Dr and his entire staff are amazing. I went to Dr Cohen for a torn muscle in my left forearm. He put me in a removable cast up to my bicep, which by the way I don't think there are many if any offices that make removable casts, to isolate movement in my arm so it could heal. After 10 days in the cast I was sent across the hallway to physical therapy, after 3 treatments I was all healed up and back to normal! I can't say enough about the professionalism of the staff and the amazing Stacey who is the one that runs the office and sets the tone! I have never been to a Dr's office that operates this smooth. If you have any hand issues Dr Cohen is the Best and I highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
