Thorough, listens, just a really good doctor....Everyone who knows him, including some in the medical field, has agreed with my opinion when his name comes up. I was glad to see that he has taught aspiring doctors because he's the kind of person who should be a model for the new folks.

Dr. Pimstone has been my primary care physician for upwards of 15 years. I have followed him from Marina del Rey to West LA to Westlake Village. I live in Santa Monica - so it's an hour drive to see him. But as in finding a great auto mechanic, you never leave a great doctor. He's very caring and thorough, and of course in his UCLA network has many specialists to recommend (luckily all of them are in Santa Monica). He's of course very knowledgeable, being a UCLA professor. Dr. P is a gentle guy who nevertheless tells it like it is. And he responds quickly to most e-mail questions through the myuclahealth website. Highly recommended.

Dr. Pimstone genuinely cares about his patients. He takes his time to listen and you never feel rushed. A very refreshing change!

Dr. Pimstone is the best hands-down! He is a very compassionate and caring physician. He takes the time to listen and to get to know you as a person. If you do not understand something, he takes the time to explain. I have been going to him for 7+ years. He cares about the whole patient and that is what has made the difference for me.
