I moved from another state and I was concerned about finding a great skin doctor... I was very lucky and grateful that I found Dr.Trauner! He is very professional and has a great sense of humor... More importantly...quality work! I highly recommend Dr. Trauner!

Great care and compassion from Dr. Trauner. Always easy to schedule and minimal waiting in the office. We knew we were in excellent hands. He performed a Mohs surgery on our daughter and it was flawless. I believe he is the only certified and accredited Mohs Surgeon in Ventura. (others do it but without training) He is honest and thorough. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Trauner. We are very grateful to him!

Dr. Trauner has provided consistently excellent care for me and I highly recommend his professional services! He is knowledgeable, kind and attentive. He is very concerned about my comfort level in treatment, and I always feel that I am getting the best possible care from him. Dr. Trauner was responsive and proactive when I presented with a facial squamous cell tumor. The outpatient Mohs surgery I received was expertly and efficiently performed and completely painless. My outcome - cancer cleanly removed and no facial scarring - was positive beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Dr. Trauner as a dermatologist and surgeon.

I had these ugly growths on my wrist and on the backs of my arms all the way up to my elbows. Dr. Trauner suspected what it was and took a biopsy. The results came back and he was right. I got a prescription and off I went. There really was no waiting at all at this appointment. The office is run like clockwork and all staff are friendly and professional. I appreciate the treatment I received from Dr. Trauner and I'm relieved I'm on the road to recovery. I do recommend Dr. Trauner.

No, never again. My appt. left me feeling unheard, upset and disappointed following the rush job. He is part of my primary care dr's medical practice he is not up to snuff, I hope they get rid of him sooner than later. I am scheduling after I find a new dermatologist someplace else.

Exactly why people are turning against Western Medical Doctors, practioners like this. Dismissive, obviously doesn't care about the patient sitting in front of him

This is the type of guy that turns people against the medical profession. Not a good experience for my family member and was not willing to be kind, considerate or helpful for dads skin condition where he tried describing the medication cream he had used... Was cut off, ignored and not treated since his insurance didn't cover that. Took me forever to convince dad to even go to a doctor. Never Every doing that agin he told me

This was by far my worst experience with a doctor ever. He was so condescending, told me he didn’t need to hear my medical history or what my primary care doctor had said, and then proceeded to give me a hard time for not mentioning an antibiotic I had already been prescribed by my primary care doctor. He then also told me he doesn’t prescribe anything that he wasn’t the original prescribing doctor for and wouldn’t refill a prescription I’d been taking for 10 years with my prior dermatologist.
