Peter Accetta's Online Review Report Card

Had an appointment on 3/25/21, for a general skin check. The waiting area is spacious & immaculate. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant. Covid protocol was in place the entire visit. Appointment was 1:15, I was early. Waited less than 10 min, then roomed by my nurse, Lindsay, who gave me a gown & told me what to expect. Be aware that you will be asked to undress, leaving underwear on, socks off. This is so a complete body check can be done. There are areas that we can't see so well on our own.. Don't be shy, if you feel somewhat embarrassed, remind yourself how you would feel to later find out there was a suspicious spot you didn't see that turned out to be cancerous. So, I waited maybe 10 min , then Julie PA came in. Very pleasant, told me what she was going to do. For the very first time, I had my scalp checked. Honestly, I never gave that area a thought! I was very comfortable with Julie. Lindsay, was awesome, gave me excellent information about facial treatments

Horrible bedside manner. I went in for a suspicious spot and he walked in, looked at it and said "Do you have any family history of skin cancer?" I answer "No." and he said "Well you do now!" Completely caught me be surprise and had me so worried for the next 7 days until the testing came back. Not to mention I was in his office several years before for the same spot and they said it was not cancer. I was so relieved when he was WRONG! To say that to a patient before you even know 100% is not acceptable, in my opinion. Will not be doing to him or referring him.

Dr. Accetta and ALL his staff (Emily, Catlin, Karen and others) give exceptional care. If it was possible, I would give him and his staff 10 stars plus. They are the best. Thanks for everything

I knew I had to make a first appointment just for a consult even though I knew I would need surgery to remove a cyst. To my great surprise when I got there they immediately said they could take care of it while I was there that day. This was a relief to not have to schedule another appointment. I will definitely be returning to this office. Great staff.

I felt fortunate in getting an appt. so quickly, after getting results from the lab. Within just a few days, I had a Squamous cell in situ removed on my face. Sydney, Dr. Accetta's surgical assistant, kindly explained everything to me about the procedure, in advance of Dr. Accetta entering the surgical suite. Dr Accetta along with Elizabeth and Sara answered all my questions regarding my surgery to remove basal-cell from the side of my nose and close to my left eye. The perp and procedure was painless. They even called me the next day to see how I was. If your researching were to go for being scanned and treated for skin cancer you will not be disappointed.
