I wanted to thank you for the wonderful care I received. I am so happy with the results of my total hip arthroplasty surgery. I knew after my first appointment I would be in good hands. What’s even more astounding is that I was virtually pain free in my hip as soon as I woke up. After less than 3 weeks I am up and walking. I feel great. Who knew this type of surgery could be done on an outpatient basis. Thank you for being the “Best of the Best”! Your surgical skills and professionalism are above and beyond. You and your team are amazing, caring, dedicated and accommodating and you made this experience easier than I ever imagined.Have a wonderful holiday season,S.

I had a total hip replacement. Dr Rana was very direct and thorough in explaining what needed to happen and how. He explained the surgery and recovery so there were no questions on my part. There was never any doubts about any part of my care or recovery.

I was admitted to the hospital after a fall! I got lucky and O had Dr. Rena fix my fracture! I was so lucky to have him as my Doctor !

(Jun. 2023) I finally had my other hip done. After just three months from my surgery, I hiked Bryce Canyon, leaving others behind as I traversed the trail. Dr. Rana and his team are still just as professional, amazing, the BEST, just like before. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (Nov. 2020) I seldom write reviews but one person put at ease about a total hip replacement then I am glad I did this. The first time I met Dr. Rana, he explained I’d need surgery, yet he offered alternatives. For the pre-op, he was very thorough to explain the entire process, extremely patient to answer all questions (several were similar to others) and never rushed me. Leading up to surgery, his team made sure everything was taken care of, that I knew what to do, what to expect the day of surgery and days following. There was NO pain from the surgery! That same day the PT had me walking. Days following, Dr. Rana called to see how I was. The Program Manager, was very diligent, contacting me every few days to check in. Two PTs were very impressed with my progress. Both spoke very highly of Dr. Rana. Five weeks after surgery, I’m gaining back strength. Dr Rana and his support team were more than amazing! Eventually I’ll need my other hip done; there will be no hesitation knowing I have Dr. Rana.

Prior to my surgery I walked hunched over dragging my leg. Though he had done my other hip two years ago, he was still extremely generous with his time while going over the procedure, what to expect, and addressing ALL my questions; I knew I was in exceptional hands! As before, his staff was there every step of the way to guide me through the process in preparing for the day of surgery. Absolutely no pain directly after the surgery or now. I am so fortunate to have found Dr. Rana.

From the first appointment with Dr. Rana I felt 100% comfortable and knew I chose the right surgeon. Had a total hip replacement and 2 weeks out feeling great. Dr. Rana has a wonderful bedside manner and explained the procedure and he took the time to listen to and answer my questions. He even followed up the next day (a Saturday) to see how I was doing. Highly recommend Dr. Rana!

Dr. Rana made me feel comfortable asking any questions I had prior to surgery for my hip replacement.He was patient with my concerns and was very informative about the procedure.I had an optimal experience! From the nurses and doctors at the Surgery Center when I checked in to leaving just a few hours later walking and no pain.My recovery has been beyond my expectations! I would highly recommend Dr. Rana foryour surgical needs.

From the first visit I knew that my result would be the best possible. I am a 67 year old man who spent 54 years training and competing worldwide in karate. My left knee has deteriorated because 30 years ago I cracked my meniscus. I explored all kinds of new treatment with no success. Dr. Rana educated me during the first visit and I decided to go ahead with the full knee replacement. It is the best decision of my life. My surgery was on July 26th and today is September 22nd. My Dr. post visit was on the 21st and I have achieved full extension and retraction. I am back to teaching an training karate, my walking has improved 100%. I did have a therapist but most of the therapy I did myself. I can't say enough about Dr. Rana, he is truly one of a kind. Val Mijailovic

Dr. Rana is super professional, personable, and communicative. He walked me through everything and didn't pull any punches. I had so much information going into my surgery I felt prepared. He's been attentive after as well. He's clear about what he needs me to do as a patient and what the benchmarks are. The surgery itself could not have gone better and I was impressed with his skills. It's a tough procedure but Dr. Rana and his team have made things very manageable. He's the guy to go to if you need to have this done. I'll be seeing him for my other knee at some point.

Dr. Rana recently performed a complete hip replacement surgery for me. He is smart, kind and compassionate on top of being beyond adept at what he does. He made me feel safe and cared for every step of the way. In time I will need my other hip replaced and based on my experience with him I can't imagine choosing anyone but him to be my orthopedic surgeon. I couldn't recommend him more highly for anyone searching for a kind, compassionate and knowledgable surgeon. If your insurance will let you, I recommend you request he care for you too.
