List of Ucla Medical Group's Reviews
I am writing this review before setting foot in the facility. My doctor referred me to the podiatrist at this site. I made an appointment and then tried to find out how much I would be billed for the visit. 10 phone calls and an hour or two of wait time later and I still have no answer.
Front desk is not merely unfriendly, but unhelpful bordering rude.
Dr. Gupta Endocronologist! She is the best!I live in different states but she is the best one!She really care every patient she has.Highly recommended!
As a healthcare provider myself I am disappointed at the lack of empathy this office staff displayed toward my acute and devastating life experience that left me without insurance coverage. I requested a refill for my antidepressant, which I have been taking for 5 years - since my battle with cancer. My request was both sent via my portal and 3 phone calls. Ultimately, my refill was declined. That begin a debacle of insensitive, condescending, and non compassionate interactions with staff members. I was denied a refill until I had a visit with my MD - when I explained that I would not have insurance until next month but needed my medication... I was told ..make a payment plan ! This office will be the last place I step foot ever again. Compassion does not begin there -
Thank you to the kind young man that assisted my gf in scheduling her appointment today. She grateful appreciate you Michael L!!
I lover Dr Estraghi. She is very thorough and caring. She takes her time to get all the necessary information and update my chart every visit. She is very sweet and has a nice bedside matter.
Super convenient medical center. UCLA is the best.
Easy to get appointment. Doctors take their time. Email lab results and having the lab in the building is very convenient.
Horrible place. There is no way to contact your primary doctor. They have a "call center" in agoura with non medically trained agents taking messages and making appointments. They have zero medical knowledge.I'm very sure this call center must be responsible for the deaths or serious illness of a many people. If you call with an urgent issue, they respond w ab appoint several months out; infections, high blood pressure, does not matter...the call center's primary goal is to stop one from seeing a doctor in a realistic time frame.Beware of leaving a message for your doctor w the call center. Concerns w a heart issue seem to translate mysteriously to a headache. Requests for call back are unanswered. More than a few times a message was not passed on to my doctor.I sadly found myself in this system when my outstanding primary doctor retired. He referred his patients here. That was unfortunate. My primary doctor in the ucla system, works just 3 hours a day. While I feel doctor is good, it's really impossible to work w a doctor that only works 3 hours a day. Never in my life have I had to utilize urgent care centers so much. Any illness, infection, etc I am unable to see my doctor at the UCLA westlake location, and instead wind up rotating through an endless list of area urgent care centers w doctors I've never heard of before, or again. In the end, why have a ucla doctor if you can never get to get in to see them when you are ill. Here's the biggest gotcha...if you have to be admitted, it will be at Los Robles in thousand oaks. Terrible hospital if you've ever been to a real hospital before, but the truly worst is again you won't get your primary doctor but a UCLA "hospitalist", Dr Farooqui. I'll spare you the ugly details of my experience w dr farooqui and just suggest to you to pre determine your Uber or Lyft ride and be prepared to head to UCLA Westwood or if it's a heart matter, Cedars Sinai, and you need someone else to drive. Dr Farooqui makes decisions without discussing w the patient, she doesn't show up to speak w the patient, and her medical orders seem ill informed.I'm writing this while quite frustrated and a bit angry. I'm trying to take better care of myself, but this current system doesn't seem to allow it. I had Kaiser years ago, and said I wouldn't return there because of the chaos, mismanagement, and restrictions in necessary medical care...but ucla isn't far behind.
The badest thing on the earth

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
