Jaclynn Do, Md's Online Review Report Card

The service at this office has become increasingly frustrating and unprofessional. I've been a patient there for more than three years, and in that time, I've only been seen by the doctor herself about 50% of the visits. The rest of my visits have been with the Nurse Practitioner. Recently, I made an appointment to address a digestive issue and specifically requested to see the doctor. The front office confirmed this. However, on the day of the appointment, after waiting 20 minutes past my scheduled time, the staff asked if I would see the NP instead. I expressed my preference to see the doctor, but they informed me that I would have to wait a long time. Reluctantly, I agreed to see the NP, who diagnosed me with IBS. I told her that I was experiencing frequent diarrhea, yet she prescribed Linzess, which I later confirmed with the pharmacist is for IBS with constipation. When I called the office to clarify, they told me I would need to pay another copay. I refused and asked them to verify the prescription and call me back with the correct medication. No one followed up. After three months without proper treatment, I made another appointment. The front office assured me that the doctor would see me this time, but once again, I was seen by someone whose credentials were unclear. When I asked if she was a doctor, she only gave me her name and even came into the exam room complaining about the previous patient. This office operates with greed and unethical practices. I've since called my insurance to switch to a different primary care provider. It's disheartening to see such poor quality in healthcare.

This practice is judged harshly; in my learned opinion. I'm a retired healthcare worker and understand both points of view (provider and patient.) This practice has employees with English as a second language. I begin with this to suggest differences in culture may make some patients uncomfortable and cause bad reviews. That said, the actual care/successful outcomes are what matters!!! This practice gratefully delivers! It's clean, the staff manages to move a busy office in a timely manner - appointments on time (!) - easy to book appointments (!) - bloodwork done onsite/so convenient (!) - easy free parking almost off freeway, open on Sunday (!), and then the care ... In my experience, both in crisis (gallbladder) and routine (detecting issues during physical) I was/am being given great attention to my medical care needs/follow-ups/additional tests, etc. In summary, I believe they are exceptionally dedicated in keeping their patients well and are more accessible than most providers. Additionally, this practice is generous in the insurances they carry and the doctor is a fellow University of California graduate.

Jaclyn Do and her office are a joke. Office is dirty. The doctor doesn't listen to you as the patient, tries to hurry out. She doesn't document the patients profile just tells the patient what they want to hear. Supposedly tells the staff to send for a referral to wait a week with no response you call the office and they said they didn't know about any referrals and it's not in your chart. Stay away from this office they are horrible

We love Dr Do, she has been my son's Dr for 9yrs now. She's a caring Dr who always works with us when needled. I don't know what I'd do with out her help. My son has special needs and she's always understood and made accommodations for him. ❤️

Even though they were swamped the front desk ladies kept calm and professional at all times. I work in the customer service industry and I know how crazy it can get. I appreciate their patience and hard work even though patients can be aggressive and impatient. I haven't visited in a long time but I'm glad I made it back to this office.

I been a patient of Doctor Do for a couple of years now. I been having a cough for 3 weeks. Just called to make an appointment to get checked up. I was told I can't come into the office cuz I am coughing. The doctor will call me to do a telecheck. And that I need to Zelle my copay first then she will call once they receive my payment. 1. I don't see how the can examine me over the phone to get me proper medication. 2. Are they really worried about a copay? Shouldn't they be more worried about their patients well being? Lucky for me I have PPO so I can go to urgent care. But I can't imagine them doing this to other patients. Just worried about making money instead of caring for their patients....

Obviously burnt out tryna process as many Medi-Cal/Cal Optima patients as possible

This place is so terrible that you don't need my review to know it, as you can so many1 star reviews. I had this skin problem and I ended up finding out what it was (after my doctor appointment) without any of those useless doctors. A doctor and Jaclynn J. Do were there when I had my appointment and they said I have bed bugs, the way my skin on my arm was messed up would never look like that if it were bed bugs. Jaclynn tried convincing even when I disagreed so I gave up on them and just walked out. Waste of money I had to pay for a pointless appointment. I ended up putting seamoss on my arm and it got better which I learned from my cousin who isn't a doctor.
