Came here expecting Theresa to be my PCP but she declined to accept new patients, and i had no choice but Thai. This guy asked me quite a few dumb questions that were really irrelevant to my current condition. I can sense that he is incompassionate and unconcerned. Here, the volume of patients is so high that you will only become another product on the conveyor belt. The only thing he was able to help me was to apply for a handicap permit; and even then, couldn't get my name right!!
Pretty bad! I rescheduled my appt today it's October they told me they don't have anything available until January!! Then she looked at my insurance and said you have PPO and can go anywhere, basically saying go somewhere else. Dr Thanh isn't my favorite, she's fine but I prefer Dr Thai. Go elsewhere!
Feel like dr and employees lack of care about their patients. If you have more than 3 questions they won't be so happy . Dr didn't check, only asked couple questions and gave you medicine after you told her your symptoms. I was wondering if it was accurate:(
LISTEN TO ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Would give this place negative stars if I could. My last visit was on June 23, 2023. I made an appointment for a physical that I needed to do for a CNA program. It was already difficult to get someone to answer the phone. It took even longer to make an appointment. Finally landed an appointment @2:30pm for the 23rd of June. The receptionist was terrible. She lacked knowledge of medical terminology, and told me that I had to fast for a blood test yet wanted to put me in for an appointment at 2:30pm?! Make that make sense. Since I was in a rush to get a physical, I decided to go through with it anyway. I got to the clinic at 2:30pm and waited until around 4pm until I was able to see Dr. Theresa. So at that point I hadn't eaten anything for around 7 hours. I came in, the exam went fine, nothing spectacular. Was handed a lab paperwork for my blood test and went to see another staff member. They checked my vision by having my cover my eye with a styrofoam cup and told me to read letters from a sign. The person doing it also had no idea what she was doing and kept asking another staff member what to do. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. When it was done, they told me my vision was 20/20. I WEAR GLASSES AND MY PERSCRIPTION IS -1.50. Afterwards, they handed me my paperwork and told me to go home....I asked them if they were going to take my blood because the receptionist told me to fast.... they told me no because they stop taking blood tests at 3pm. SO BASICALLY THEY TOLD ME TO FAST FOR 7 hours for NOTHING. I explained the whole situation and begged if they could please take my blood. They said no and didn't even apologize. Just told me to come back tomorrow morning and remember to fast. Fast forward, I never came back for my blood test and am currently looking for a new PCP. TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO. I was not going to post a review because I have been going to Dr. Theresa since I was in middle school, I am a senior in college now. But I realized I would do others a disservice if I didn't not speak out about my experience at this place.
If I could I would give her 0 star. She is the worst dr I have ever met. I got back pain problem for over 3 months but she kept saying it will be better without any further treatment until my friend, who try to do some therapy, after that my back condition is getting better. She is DOCTOR but even worse than my friend. I ask if I could do colonoscopy, she refuse again!. When I change to another doctor within the same building, he let me see the gastroenterology doctor!? Now, my mom has ankle sprain, she said that my mom can drive car? My mom cannot even walk normally. How could she drive car? If accident occurs, will the doctor take responsibility????? she kept saying the same and refuse to fill out paperwork for my mom (she hasnt worked for 1 months so we need those paperwork from healthcare provider). Be careful! She refuses everything!
I see a lot of bad reviews. She is never my PCP due to insurance conflicts; I tried 2x but couldn't so I gave up trying. My ex co-worker said this Dr. is her PCP and she wouldn't trade for any other PCP. In the end, she switched to Kaiser. Anyways, I got a chance to interact with Dr. Theresa and her brother, Dr. Thai back when Covid was spreading. She was 1 of the doctor volunteered to be on site, to answer questions patients might have when they came for their Covid shot. From our interaction, I didn't think she's a good fit as my PCP. Maybe because I was an employee at the place where she volunteered so she didn't want to waste her time with me? But yeah...I didn't feel at ease and probably hard to talk to when interacting with Dr. Theresa.
The service of the operator on the phone was very BAD! I'm an MD Theresa's patient for almost 3 years. I never call to the doctor for bullshit too much until now. I'm very sick and I couldn't believe that the patient was very sick and had a lot of cough and fever. Can't go to the doctor. But when I called them and they told me I need to make an appointment with the doctor to get the medicine. If not, they won't give me medicine. They said they will let the doctor talk to the patient on the phone if the patient has covid only. Otherwise, no service. They even told me to go buy a test kit for covid. What if I have or don't? If I tell a liar to them how do they know? If I can go buy a covid test kit, why do I have to call the doctor to get the medicine? But the solution here is that they choose VERY BAD TREAT with the patient. I feel like they are disregarding the patient's life so much. I advise everyone to consider this before deciding to choose this family doctor!!!! They did all the time the same way with my parents too. I will take all my family away from this group of doctors!!!
A really really inferior level of service provided by the staff here. - I asked them to email me the blood test results over the phone and they said I had to go to the office to get one. Their excuse was that it's too confusing to manage the print job. (Yes I am not kidding you! That's what the woman said). Unbelievable. Did they even interview these people before hiring? - While at the office, I wanted them to ask the doctor to clarify the results the blood test. And the doctor was not with a patient and in a room literally 3 feet away. They refused to go in to ask the doctor and gave me some nonsense answer to make me go away. I had to knock on her room, went in there and asked the question myself. - I asked them over the phone if the doctor was qualified to fill out form I-693 for my wife (for immigration purposes) and they told me to make an appointment with the doctor to ask the question. Undoubtedly the WORST group of people to deal with. It is PAINFUL to hear the things that come out of these people's mouths.

I have been a loyal patient of Dr Theresa Nguyễn for more than 10 years, since the previous office was at the corner. I like her a lot even though she's kind of quiet and doesn't show her emotions. I've sent quite a few of new patients to her practice. Lately I think due to the large volume of patients, she has to hire many more employees which has changed the atmosphere of the office. Staff is not friendly and professional as before, especially the new woman working in the blood test little cubby. Today even I have an appointment, I've already seen three people waiting ahead of me (every day the staff is back from lunch break at 2:30pm), that meant at least four people were scheduled at the same time, and there's only one Dr working. Those three people came in first and I waited for my turn. When they called my name, I came in for blood pressure and weight checked then I was told to go outside to wait again. After another 15' they called me in and pointed to a chair telling me to wait again. Right at that time Dr Theresa came out of the room with a patient whom she's just finished. I thought it would be my turn but to my astonishment, an employee escorting another person into that room. I remembered that woman just came to the office and told the receptionist that she just called and was told to come, no appointment necessary. Looks like that person is a friend of the staff. I wonder if my health insurance coverage is bad or I don't deserve to be treated equally as every other people at this place. Now it's time for me to search for another PCP. So sad!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
