My Father died because of complete Lack of following procedures and lack of supervision for someone with COPD. 1st they hadn't scheduled my father for treatment, going on 3 months, I got involved to find the hold up. They wanted the deductible 1st but didn't even call to tell us. My vibrant father went in for his 1st treatment. Shortly into his treatment, he stopped breathing. They failed to put a simple oxygen monitor on him which obviously he should have had due to his COPD, it could have saved him! A LIFE! They also have no life saving equipment on site. They had to call and wait for 911. I looked online for an understanding for his death. In 2 minutes found "if receiving treatment for cancer, oxygen levels are to be monitored very carefully for COPD patients due to the drop in red blood cells stopping oxygen to the body. They took my $900 ded. and then billed for the service! Medical board needs to view your procedures so another daughter doesn't loose her dear Father!!!!
Dr. Freimann is an awesome doctor. He was my mother's doctor from 1998 - 2001. Unfortunately she passed away from cancer in 2001. During that time he was very personable and kind and he really made her feel like he genuinely cared for her well-being. I am very grateful that he was the doctor that was there for my mother (Stephanie Alvarez) during her final days. Thank You Dr. Freimann!
I've been a patient of this office many years & go in once a month. Over the years the level of care has greatly gone downhill. When I first started going to this office, I literally only sat in the waiting room for no more than 10 minutes. All the staff was friendly & called all patients by their first name. It was such a great environment. Obviously, some major changes took place. All of the original staff has quit. The wait times are obnoxious & no one cares. Time to find a new doctor.
Dr. Friemann is a kind man and does listen. He spent a fair amount of time but I don't think he took my disease as serious as it is although he did follow the previous hematologist's orders. That pleased me.
Doesn't listen to what you have to say. He's only interested in himself. Very arrogant and full of himself. I don't even know how good he is because all I could see what a very self centered doctor.
He was very rude to me, made me cry a couple times. Told me that if I didn't do what he told me, I should just go home and wait to die. Told me he didn't have to like to me treat me. He would not listen to my concerns or questions. He looked at his computer the whole time and didn't even take time to look at me or talk directly to me.
Thankful to have been recommended to Dr. Freimann because he is absolutely amazing and truly cares about his patients. I would recommend him as well.
great experience with Dr. Freimann and his staff. I would highly recommend him.
Very good oncologist and great staff as well. Dr. Freimann would always follow up with my father after each treatment to see how he is doing. I thought that was very of him, since we've changed a few doctors, who would not follow up with their patients.
Dr. Freimann cares about his patients and takes great responsibility in providing the best service. What's great about this doctor is that he works out of several locations such as Downey, Montebello, Whittier and I think a few more. I know that because I have recommended him before to someone in Whittier, and I am currently doing my chemo in his Downey office. From my experience he has been very helpful and his staff as well have been very nice and have provided excellent service.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
