Dr Wang is awesome! Very caring & extremely accommodating in all facets of her profession! The medical profession needs more Drs. like Dr Wang .

Dr. Wang came in to confirm the worst news I could ever hear. Stage 4 Lung cancer. She offered limited treatment options and what appeared to be limited hope. While myself and my family sat there in shock, she delivered the news in a very frank and emotionless manner and just stared at us. At that moment I felt completely hopeless. Her bedside manner was lacking to say the least. When Dr Pham (our soon to be primary oncologist) came in to speak with us, he sat with us and really explained our options and gave us hope. Without hope, what’s the point? We just weren’t happy with her.

Dr Wang is the Momma Bear of all hematologist. Everytime my iron levels results are low she jumps to action by getting me the best care as possible even if this means getting another round of Iron Infusions to help with this. I have been seeing her for over a year now and the rate of compassion before during and after my Fibroid Surgery had been nothing more than amazing. Yes I am still battling Iron and Pernicious (B12) Defiency Anemia. I highly recommend her for all of your blood needs. You will not regret it.

While she knows her stuff, we had another bad experience with her and will be looking for another hemotologist Not being part of the portal system, or bothering to call us with labs results, my father ended up in ER again due to anemia. Her orders for Ron Infusions took 2 weeks to get. Too little too late. My father has greatly declined since seeing her. A week later and still not told his hemoglobin levels. Got ER result for it faster. She could have started his treatment sooner so he wouldn't be hospitalized. Strike two, she's out.

Dr. Wang is knowledgeable, patience and very graceful.

Dr Wang was absolutely amazing. I was crushed when PIH and Cigna split because I was losing her. She fought and advocated for me on so many levels and I can never thank her enough for what she did for me. The staff was always helpful and attentive. Arlene was one of the few people who made my blood tests simple and painless .If I ever get the opportunity to get back under PIH, I will definitely go back to this office.

Dr. Lisa Wang is an amazing person and doctor. She has a wonderful bedside manner while staying professional and to the point. You can tell she has a vast amount of knowledge in her area of expertise as well as a genuine concern for her patients well being. She was very prompt and efficient in her communication with me and other health care providers working on my case. I never felt rushed when speaking to her and she was always happy to answer all of my questions. I would recommend her to anyone in need of her expertise!

Dr. Wang has been treating my Mom's (95 yrs old) anemia for years. She is one of the best Doctors at PIH.

Went to Dr. Wang for 2nd opinion. Had surgery at USC Keck. Wang wanted to start radiation treatment before wound even healed. Had mask made even. Two days before had appointment at Keck Center. Asked Dr. If radiation treatment could be done there. Response was radiation not needed. More harm than good. Wang still wanted treatment done. After consulting with my Dr. at Keck she then had "Kat" from PIH call me every day for 2 weeks saying I needed "Preventitive Radiation". 5 years later I am cancer free. She was willing to ruin my life for the $. So sad. I wonder how many of her 4 & 5 star reviews lives she messed up with them not even knowing it. USC Keck saved me.
