Review Summary
Dr. Cat and her practice garnered 97.9% positive feedback, with patients lauding the friendly and caring staff, clean environment, and Dr. Cat's gentle and patient approach. However, 2.1% of the feedback was negative, primarily citing issues with anesthesia and high out-of-pocket costs. Overall, the practice is cherished for its exceptional pediatric care, yet it needs better communication on medical procedures and transparency in billing.ScoreDoc Score

List of Dr. Cat & The Tooth Pediatric Dental Office: Catherine Guerrero's Reviews
Trust me, Finding the right pediatric dentist can make all the difference, and this practice truly sets the gold standard. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much they genuinely care about their patients and families. Even creating a home like experience with cozy holiday decor. Dr. Cat is incredibly patient, kind, and obviously knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain everything in a way that both kids and parents can understand, which to me builds trust and comfort. Her calm, reassuring presence is comforting for children who may feel nervous or scared and she knows exactly how to ease their fears and turn what would be a stressful visit into a positive experience. Her chairside manner is honestly the best I’ve ever seen. She connects with kids on their level, making them feel safe, heard, and even excited to come back. It’s clear she’s not just focused on dental care, but building healthy habits and confidence with her patients. The only downside? I wish I could be her patient too- but sadly, I’m a little too old! If you’re looking for the BEST pediatric dentist who is compassionate, educational, and truly exceptional with children, I can’t recommend her enough.
BEWARE: One instance still gives my wife and I nightmares. They brought in an anesthesiologist for our appointment, he was a big intimidating guy we've never met before. They would only allow one parent in the room, so I had to stay in the waiting area. Before my wife was even with our son in the operating room, THE GUY FORCED THE MASK OVER OUR SON'S MOUTH WHILE HE WAS CRYING, AND HELD IT DOWN WHILE HE FOUGHT BACK -- UNTIL HE FELL UNCONSCIOUS. My wife saw it from the hallway while she was running to the room, but when she got there our son was already out. The guy didn't introduced himself, didn't say what we were going to do, or what to expect. Neither did Cat. It was very traumatic for my wife and my son. I was livid. I complained after, and Cat apologized, but that was it. We regret taking my son here for years, from 4-6 years old. We should have left much earlier. They always push for anesthesia or laughing gas, your costs will be higher. We spent thousands of dollars worth of dental work here, and upon going to another dentist, learned that the dental care we received from Cat was not good, and it left my son needing even more work to fix it. For example, they pulled two of his teeth and put in spacers. They didn't want to keep adjusting his spacers which were causing his gums to bleed, so they removed them and said he must be allergic (he is not allergic to metal, it was their care). The new dentist couldn't believe they removed the spacers... this caused his incoming teeth to have no space, and his whole mouth was out of whack because the gaps had closed. We also got several fillings here, most of which broke or fell out; we would need to pay to get new ones. The last one fell out while he was eating, 13 months after getting them in. I called to ask if they could fix it, and they coldly told me, "No, you'll need to pay for new ones because we only cover them for 12-months." After thousands of dollars, tons of work done, they still care 0% about you. Run away from this place.
My 2yo son is a very shy kid, yet the Dental assistants here are very kind and patient with him. Although he was a bit hesitant, he was comfortable enough to allow them to brush his teeth. Dr. Cat is also very sweet and gentle with him as she examined his teeth. Definitely recommend this dental office for young children.
My older daughter has been going here for several years now and my younger one just had her first checkup. Everyone is always very friendly and knows how to handle the little ones. My kids love watching their favorite show during their visits. Dr. Cat is patient, kind and really good with the kids!
Dr. Cat has been our family’s pediatric dentist for nine years — since my oldest was just six months old! She has cared for all five of my children (now ages 2, 4, 6, 8, and 9), and I can honestly say she is one of a kind. From the moment you walk into her office, you can feel the warmth, calm, and joy she brings to her work. Dr. Cat has a remarkable gift for connecting with children — even the most reluctant ones. She somehow turns what could be a stressful experience into something positive, fun, and rewarding. My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist (which says it all!) and always leave smiling and proud of themselves. Her office is bright, spotless, and full of life — she takes such great care to decorate for every season and holiday, which I know must take so much time and effort. Those thoughtful touches make every visit feel festive and welcoming, and they truly reflect the heart she puts into everything she does. Dr. Cat and her team are endlessly patient, kind, and professional. She explains everything clearly, celebrates small victories, and helps each child feel seen, supported, and confident. Over the years, she’s become more than just our dentist — she’s a trusted part of our family’s care team. After nearly a decade of visits, I can confidently say that Dr. Cat isn’t just an outstanding pediatric dentist — she’s a true partner in helping children build lifelong healthy habits and a positive relationship with dental care. We are so grateful for her and can’t imagine entrusting our kids’ smiles to anyone else. 💛🦷✨ — The Robertson Family
Dr. Cat has been my son's dentist since he first got teeth. Her office is always impeccably decorated for the holiday. The staff is always compassionate and friendly. My son has had painless cavities filled and even a crown added. No tears and no worries. We have never had a bad experience here. As a matter of fact, I have asked if she takes adult patient because I would like to go here as well (unfortunately she doesn't😂). I highly recommend Dr. Cat, she is gentle, friendly and always honest. We love visiting!

We love Dr. cat! She’s so amazing, gentle and welcoming! She’s been the kids first and only dentist and will continue to stay with her until she retires!
Very happy to find this dental office, clean and professional dentist
My kids beg me to go to the dentist all year. 6 months is not often enough. They are 4 and 2. That should tell you everything you need to know about Dr. Cat and her magical team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
