I had the pleasure of a video appointment with Dr Berrong in September. I had not met him in person prior to that time, although I had heard very positive reviews from some of his patients. He was kind, soft-spoken, thorough and extremely patient. He didn't rush the appointment at all and I look forward to in-person appointment with him in the future.

I had my first visit with Dr Berrong in March, he was respectful comprehensive , most of all he was timely. I was so impressed that he felt no need to visit with me in excess of my need, but made it clear that if I needed him he would be there. He also refilled my medications for a year, this is so important to me, I hate making numerous telephone calls to have medications refilled. He ordered labs that were needed, and even sent me a letter with the results and his evaluation .

I have SSI and he is the primary physician I chose and I do not regret it.Since it was my first visit with him I mainly went there to fill him in on my physical condition and get referrals to specialists but I also got a couple prescriptions filled that I needed.My previous insurance before I was on SSI was Kaiser which is an extremely pill happy organization. However, Dr. Berrong wanted to find out if there were underlying causes for certain things and if so, wants to work with me on fixing those first before prescribing pills. I really liked that about him.The only reason I had such a long wait was I got lost finding the proper building so I was late. So, I spent some extra time in the room waiting for him. Purely my fault. I know he had other patients to see. No big deal.

Too many patients to have a personal relationship with any. Always kept waiting at least an hour. Most disturbing was often a three day wait for a return phone call when requesting help.

Dr. Berrong was my family's MD while we lived in Woodland. He delivered my middle child. His knowledge is vast; he answers every question. His skills are superior to most doctors I have been around. More than anything; however, what makes him a great doctor is his bedside manor. My wife worries and freaks out about nearly everything, but Dr. Berrong was able to talk with (and care for) her in a manor that not only answered her questions, but made sense and left her calm. My wife and I were upset when we moved for we were no longer able to have him as our MD, but would recommend him to anyone.
