List of Larissa Isterabadi's Reviews
Dr. Isterabadi has been forgetful the past few times she has stated she would provide specialist referrals she has not. It's frustrating to learn a few weeks after a visit, with no call from the specialist, that no referral was made.
If you have a child with special needs DO NOT see this doctor.
If your child has special needs ie ASD do not see this doctor. Her only help is psychiatric medication. Does not care to help with any internal issues. My child needed antibiotics for yeast and bacteria overgrowth and she turned us away. She will help with neuro typical kids only apparently. Awful!
My 11yr old daughter needed a school checkup and to get some shots. Our regular Doctor, Dr. Woo, was unavailable and so we had to see Dr. Isterabadi. She was particularly nervous about getting the shots but everything went well and she handled it like a champ. Dr. Isterabadi was reviewing her stats when she decided to flip her screen around and point to the BMI chart. She then proceeded to tell her that she was on the high end of the BMI chart ,that she was overweight and that we should be monitoring her cholesterol. As soon as she left the room she burst into tears asking my wife if she was fat. She isn't by any standard and the thought had never occurred to her prior to this appointment but now her self image is forever changed because this Doctor was so callous as to point this out to her. The right thing to do would've been to ask her to step outside so she can review any concerns with my wife who was present at the time. Instead she chose to body shame my daughter.

Dr. Isterabadi is wonderful. My kids have been seeing her since they were born. She always remembers names, asks about the other if they're not there for the appointment. Very good bedside manner, great at communicating information. Always offers to print information out for me, which is very helpful with two kids under 4.
I’m a first time mom and I was so worried about how I was going to choose the best Dr. I could for my baby so I decided to ask all the Dr’s and nurses at the hospital I gave birth and one name at the top of their list was Isterabadi .... and they were not wrong she has been the best Dr. we could have asked for we feel so comfortable and well taken care of by her, and the nurses there are amazing just like her. Thanks Dr. Isterabadi and staff !!
I am so thankful for this excellent pediatrician! She is thorough, kind and attentive to the needs of her patients.
It's my experience that the doctor doesn't give sufficient time for her patients as she always rushing to take the other one. It's my opinion she needs to listen and explain the full diagnosis without being vague.
I have been having experience not this is very good for revisiting the office so many times in order to get the right medicine and a diagnostician for my kids, therefore I am doubting about the policy of this office and paying co-pays every time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
