List of Jahangir Mahmoudi's Reviews
I would recommend them 100%
I tried to like this place- they had no good reviews & now I know why. Dr gave me Contradicting diagnosis. Medicine that I did not need. And medicine that hurt me. Also the staff are rude and incompetent at best. They aren't efficient at all and I should Never have a telephone appointment and have to read my lab results to the doctor because hes too lazy or incompetent to get the results himself and go over them with himself.
Terrible experience, during initial appointment things seemed thorough, had some tests he wanted to do, during next appointment, contradicted almost everything he said in first one. Office staff said on phone they received previous medical records, doctor tells me afterwards that they're still waiting on them.
My mother is Dr. Mahmoudi's patient. She doesn't know English, so she asked me to write a review and let others know he is very knowledgeable, competent, and caring.
I was told my lupus was in my head. To see a psychologist. He even said it was because I was a woman. I wouldn't send even my worst enemy there. I wish negative stars were available to choose from in the ratings. This guy should lose his licence to practice.
Yes 1 Star. I was on time for an 11:15a appointment but didn't get seen until 12. Everything was fine with the receptionist and paperwork and all that. Yet when he finally came in, he did the test pretty quickly and on VERY old out dated equipment. I went to UC Davis last year and got a diagnosis of carpal tunnel. He was supposed to see how it progressed so I could qualify for surgery. Now I know my hands very very well. I'm an artist and this news devastated me last year but I picked myself up and ended up on the state insurance shortly after my diagnosis from UC Davis. At the end the Dr kept scoffing at UC Davis for not giving me any information on how to medically check it. He was just rude and now I have to fight getting surgery or a cortisone shot. So thanks for that. Rude!
I would never recommend this man. I even told his staff I felt sorry for them.
Very rude people in office. First of all - you need a referral to see him, and then they call you to schedule an appointment. They never called so I called them - she tried to say she called and I denied the appointment-why the heck would I do that? You know how your cell phone keeps track of phone numbers -well she never called. Then when I finally get an appointment - I go to the office and they are so rude about not having a mask on, I had one in the car but the lady was so rude I said forget it I don t want to bother with these rude people.
With a modest office and extremely friendly staff, Dr Mahmoudi is excellent! I found him to be knowledgeable, trustworthy, and a natural at putting my fears to rest. He immediately ordered all necessary texts and I completely trust his expertise and opinion!
I have read this DRs letter of reprimand from the California Medical Board. I never speak ill of other physicians, but believe this guy to be less interested in patient care than in attaining great reviews on the internet. Shame on you "Doctor!"

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
