If i could give a negative star rating I would. First of all for people returning to this company after not being seen in awhile they make it almost impossible to set up an appointment to get help. They make you feel like a number and not a human when trying to set up to find a provider. It makes me not even want to try to get the help that i desperately need. First of all it should never be this hard seeking help for your mental health needs.
If suffering a mental health crisis and its your last alternative they will help you
Completely ignored my calls at first when I finally got a response she was incredibly rude and they refused to even see me
Was sent to them by my daughters psychiatrist for behavioral therapy and was told our daughter is just a spoiled child and was sent away. No help in any way at all. She has had past traumas and out lashes in anger but yet according to them she is just spoiled. Worst place ever. They couldnt even guide us in a direction of where to go.
Call system is confusing and no one normally answers. Doesnt have a simple call system for just appointments unless you have the time to press every single one to guess which one is for appointments
You guys are terrible. Incompetent workers rude customer service—not to mention the therapist I was assigned to had no clue what she was doing.
They don’t have any groups besides art and out doors
since i spent a good chunk of time here id like to do a detailed review. the food is terrible and needs improvements they get it from the cafeteria at a local juvenile hall. the mental health workers are great but this hospital could do a better job of listening to and believing patients early on. a previous hospital had briefly tried a medication with me that made me very ill caused hallucinations and was all around very bad for me. at the previous hospital aurora santa rosa they listened when i said this medication was not good for me and allowed me to discontinue. was not listened to for nearly two weeks at yuba sutter when i said this isnt even a medication im supposed to be taking anymore and even forced me to take shots. i was highly overmedicated the first half of my stay there and my mental health worsened as a result. i cannot remember the name of the first doctor i saw who wears embroidered jeans and has short curly hair but i did not like him. the second doctor i saw dr. cotts agreed that this medication was not only a bad fit but told me that its use is very outdated and that most patients dont do well on it. im an experienced and educated patient and did not appreciate the earlier mistreatment however things improved as time went on and i was placed on a medication that was a better fit. i was glad that daily outdoor time was included as this was crucial to my healing process and is for all human beings. this is more of an overall criticism of the entire behavioral health industry but this place falls in line with a lot of my experiences which is that doctors tend to overvalue their education and experience working in the field and undervalue patients life experience and knowledge of their own treatment. people know their own minds and bodies so i would encourage the first doctor again dont know his name to listen more. he came at me with legal jargon as if i was going to sue him and it was incredibly rude and insulting. talk about bad bedside manner. dr cotts on the other hand was great and very helpful even going out of his way to provide me with extra knowledge and resources. thanks to the mental health workers who made my stay more bearable with their empathy and good conversation.EDIT I cant believe I forgot to include this to begin with but despite it being glaringly written all over my medical chart that I have a deathly peanut allergy I was served peanuts while incapacitated in this facility and went into anaphylactic shock. Changing my review to 2 stars especially since an ambulance company is now trying to bill me for that incident infuriating.
Didnt care for the doctors advice in the past New year I have to try again I need my Haldal

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
