Dr Phan has been my primary care physician for over a decade. Him and all the people at Healthcare Partners/Optum have always been great - professional & respect.

I just want to say that I love Dr. Phan and his staff. I feel like he really cares about his patience. He listens (major key) and I feel extremely comfortable with telling him what's wrong. He does everything to understand what's happening, he asks questions and his staff is very prompt with giving any paperwork or anything that the doctor recommends for me. The ladies in reception are ALWAYS very kind and professional. I enjoy their smiles, even when I don't feel good, they make me forget about my pain when I am greeted by them. The back office works so hard. They are willing to help in any way they can. So professional and I appreciate Dr. Phan and his staff for being available while the world is going through a crazy time. I travel far just to make sure that I am cared for how I should be cared for. THANK YOU Dr. Phan and Staff !

If Dr. Phan leaves Health Care Partners on Spring, I'll be devastated. I've been his patient for a couple years. He's patient, helpful and very thorough. I had a scare this holiday season and Dr. Phan called me personally to go over my preliminary results. It's a busy time and he went above and beyond to ease my anxiety. Thank you Dr. Phan.

Honestly the best Dr. you could ever ask for. He has been my family's Dr for over 10 years now and we love him.

I was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to schedule an appointment with this doctor and his medical group and no one could see me for 7 days. They made me in put all of my medical information personal information and insurance information only to inform me that they didn't have any appointments for a week. Just go to urgent care or call someone else don't waste your time calling them.

Dr Phan is awesome! He doesn't rush you and listens to all of your questions with a genuine sense of care. Staff is super friendly as well. Parking is easy to find. The only drawback is since he's good at what he does it's sometimes kind of hard to get an appt sometimes.

Dr Phan is great. It is really hard to find a good dr and I have recently moved to Long Beach and was looking for a PCP. I found Dr Phan on Yelp and am happy I gave him a shot.

I was so bothered I had to make an account. Phan was my primary for 8 years and for most of that time I was healthy. After a visit to the urgent care I was given treatment plan that I followed up with Phan. He just said that sounds correct and I kept along the plan but never explored my situation on his own. My treatment was stopped by the insurance company (apparently I had used up what was allowed by my plan for my ailment) and they said it could be restarted if my doctor would step in and talk to the insurance company. Phan did not and instead made it seem as though I was not really suffering and made no suggestions as to alternative treatments. I expected the individual that has seen me for over 8 years to be a bit more invested and not treat me like I am making it up. Basically when you don't know whats wrong with you and you are in pain, Phan wont be in your corner (wont go against the insurance company doctors either). Fortunately, I have since changed my insurance plan at work, but I would have left his care regardless.
