2 1/2 years later after Dr. Tortosa, repaired my five fractured wrist, yes, from playing pickle ball, everything is working at I would say 98% and so grateful no arthritis set in and you can barely see the scar and for all his encouraging words for an elder babe that fell playing pickle ball. I'm glad he's retired now Taking time for himself and family. so grateful he just happen to be back in town right before my fall in January 1921. And thank you Dr. Jacobson for the connection. All is well, and I am playing even more than ever.

25 years ago I cut my thumb in a freak dumpster accident. I was 10. My parents were told that Dr. Tortosa was "the guy" that could make my thumb work again. I had severe tendon damage. Turned out that he knew my great grandpa (Papa John). He did an incredible job. He was in the OR for 6 hours. He took the time necessary to fix it. Here I am, 25 years later, a physician myself. Thank you, Dr. Tortosa for your service. Thank you for your knowledge, expertise and the patience to do the right thing for me. I am sure there are thousands of other patients have been blessed by your expertise.
