Dr.fraschetti and dr.shih are the best, they are very attentive and make sure to address all concerns. Very informative and equally respectful. Their staff has never been rude I’m very glad the basin has such great pediatricians

Dr. Shih has been great however, the staff is very rude and completely treated me in the most disrespectful fashion.Flat out discrimination.it was on Monday…It was not because I was 12 minutes late, she even told it was because of my disability, the first staff member was checking me in, when I explained my disability to her the second staff member came and took her place at the door and refused to even allow me into the building, than not only did she speak at me In a disrespectful manor, she slam the door on me and refuse to let me speak to another staff member, manager, or the doctor. She insulted me by making verbal assumptions at me about me my health, my disability, my values and what kind of person I am, she said “By what you just said, it tells me everything about you that I need to know”I personally do not feel the need to come back here with my family and quite frankly Dr. Shih should go elsewhere, or go concierge like everyone else is.Dr. Shih’s patients and business should not have to suffer because the staff doesn’t understand basic bedside manor, treating ALL people equally and with respect.There are laws in place which I tried to explain California's Unruh Civil Rights Act (Civil Code Section 51) and Disabled Persons Act (Civil Code Sections 54 – 55.32) prohibit disability-based discrimination by any business establishment, but she already made up her mind that I didn’t matter.She came to the door ready to attack me. as the first girl who answered the door went to go get her after I explained that I had a disability, I was clearly something less than in her perception and I will say it not only hurts to be looked at in such a fashion but to have someone raise their voice and talk at you like they are authorized to dictate you, because they have already decided that your the beta and they are the alpha, and even than I never raised my voice at her, my body language never changed while the whole conversation she was trying to disgrace, disrespect and undermine me for my disability.Bottom line is this:Life is too short going to a health facility that doesn’t respect health disability of the patient or the parent of the patient, A diagnosed disability by the very same esteem peers and science that they swear by. It is not a smart choice to make with or in ones life. It just is not.

If you value your life and want to leave with a shred of dignity , go to another clinic.

Shirley Duncan takes mental illness as a joke. I came here on Oct 19th to get a refill on my meds that I’ve been on for 5 years. Shirley Duncan “forgot” and I’ve called multiple times & was told she hasn’t “checked” her messages. I’ve left a message to the practice manager, who never called me back either. As an RN, I’ve never witnessed such irresponsibility from a provider nor a practice. It’s been TWO whole weeks I’ve been trying to get my medication. VERY unacceptable!! Shame on you people for not taking mental illness seriously.

The Morongo Basin Community Health Center Dental Clinics in Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms are the best dental facilities anywhere in Southern California. Both of the managing dentists in the two locations are the best dentists I have ever been to. Not only do the dentists possess outstanding dental technique-skills, but their bed-side manner out-matches any of the many dentists I have experiences with. All of the professional support staff are highly competent, caring and attentive. Both of the offices are physically attractive, sterile and assure the greatest degree of privacy. Compare this to some of our local dental offices that are dirty, worn-out, poorly equipped and have treatment rooms separated only by flimsy curtains - where you can hold-hands with the person being treated in the next cubicle. I have undergone treatment for the past year and my mouth has never felt so good and free of annoying dental symptoms. Other patients with complicated dental problems - who I have recommended - say the same thing. It is important to remember that dentists and dental treatment is one of the greatest blessing in life - dentists are one of the few medical practitioners who actually "do something" that directly and immediately benefits the quality of our life. If you care about your teeth, you will choose MBCHC Dental offices in either YV or 29. Nothing more can be said - JUST DO IT!!!!
