Dr. Rand is an excellent dermatologist and I trust her judgment implicitly!!! I've been going to her for years and I highly recommend her!!!
I have been seeing Dr. Rand since I was a kid and have always had a great experience whenever I had any skin related issues or concerns. Recently, Dr. Rand was not available at a medical meeting so I booked an appointment saw her PA, Dezeri who was amazing. She took so much time with me addressing my skincare needs and helping me set up a plan to get rid of my acne before my wedding (which thankfully worked)! I can't thank her and her staff enough who were all so accommodating.
I jumped around from dermatologist to dermatologist before I found Dr. Rand. Since 2016, I've seen her for all my skin ailments and I won't go anywhere else. In my experience, she's always been attentive, kind, and caring but most importantly, skilled and very knowledgeable. I've also seen her PA, Dezerai, who has helped me with another skin issue, and she is very competent as well. The office always follows up with me which makes me feel very confident in their care.

Also, you can tell Dr. Rand is a good dermatologist because she doesn't recommend unnecessary treatments. In my opinion, she's the best out there.
The worse Dr ever. A true nut case. Called my other Dr to scream at him about not being there on Friday. Called without my permission to talk about my case. I went to her in private to get get a second opinion not to call my Dr behind my back on his cell phone. Rude, loud mouth ego base. not a Dr you want to go too. Than she refused to give me my own tests back. Long story short stay away at all costs. Plus her photo she uses is about 40 to 50 years old? Might as well put up a baby photo.
I had the worst experience with Dr. Rand. I came to her early in my pregnancy to have some suspicious moles checked. They needed removing so when I came in for the procedure Dr. Rand and her assistant both entered the treatment room. Before the first mole was sliced off some sort of situation arose which Dr. Rand sent her assistant out to handle and we continued, eventually Dr. Rand was needed as well and she left the room but not before knocking over the open vial of formaldehyde with the first mole in it and not even mentioning it to me, the pregnant woman having dangerous looking moles removed because I'm pregnant. I tried to open a window because the fines were making me nauseous but they were sealed shut. I considered leaving but I was wearing a paper gown. She finally returned to finish removal of the final mole and without her assistant to bandage me she was worse than useless. She threw a giant gauze pad on my chest with some water proof tape barely holding onto the edges, the whole thing was gaping and open and painful to have bandages rubbing on an open wound any time I moved my arms.
She even made some stupid comment about how she had to prove she could bandage me without her assistant. It was terrible. I scarred badly at the second site AND the first mole is already back but I'm looking for another dermatologist and a plastic surgeon now to address that.
Rhonda Rand attempted to remove a basal cell carcinoma on my nose. She froze the area, removed all the pigment and the carcinoma remained. Dont worry, said the good doctor. You can cover it with makeup. Shes the worst. This happened many years ago but it was unforgettable because I have mirrors. Louise Greenberg
I have been going to Dr Rand for over ten years! She is knowledgeable, extremely competent, and quick ; the results have never failed to please! And yes I am getting older but she does definitely softens the process ! She is also good about mole checking and checking for potential harmful sun damage. Having said that, we know our bodies and should be alert to changes.
Rhonda Rand has been my dermatologist since 2005. I moved out of country 3 times and now live in Orange County and I would only trust Rhonda Rand to do Botox on my face. She is an artist. She knows exactly how much and where to inject it. She tells you the truth about what I need and don't need. She's never been late in all my experience, but I wouldn't even care. She's so good and an expertise in skin rejuvenation, she's worth a little wait and a 2 hour drive.
Dr. Rand is lovely, but she's pretty consistently 30 to 40 minutes behind schedule. Know that you'll be sitting in the waiting room well past your appointment time.
I would highly recommend Dr. Rand. I have seen Dr. Rand several times over the past couple of years, she has always been very helpful and knowledgeable regarding any Dermatology issues. Her staff are very friendly and helpful. The waiting room is comfortable. Recently I decided to try the PRP Treatment (PlateletRich Plasma). I have noticed more hair in the area of my scalp that we have been working on. The hair is starting to grow back! Thanks very much Dr. Rand!
This woman is a godsend. I starting seeing Dr. Rand years ago when I needed a tattoo removed. She removed it in a series of sessions in a very gentle, mindful way that has left no trace of the tattoo and no damage to the skin whatsoever. I've been to her several times since. I trust her implicitly for her aesthetic eye, her gentle hand, her expertise in all things skin and her sensitivity to anything that might be painful. I will be a patient for life! And anyone complaining about wait times? This is your health you're talking about and a good doctor is hard to find. Schedule a couple hours out of your day just in case and don't stress about it!
Dr. Rand is the BEST! I love her so much. Super personable and knowledgable!!! I highly recommend her. She has been my dermatologist for a few years now & she knows her shit when it comes to skin! She is great for any of your anti aging needs plus! Her staff is always lovely and accommodating. Great office! Rhonda Rand is my go to
Switched from another BH dermatologist who misdiagnosed me twice. Dr. Rand is thorough, with a pleasing bedside manner. Never used her for fillers purely medical. She also has decent office hours realizing that lots of people actually work and often can only visit the doctor before 9 or after 5. What a concept!
So I saw this ad for this new body sculpting machine and after researching it, ended up at the office of Dr. Rand. What I really appreciated about this office was the fact that they were very honest with me, and set my expectations. Both the doctor and most wonderful nurse explained the procedure in detail and made sure that I understood what was possible and more importantly, what wasn't. I signed up for the series of treatments and couldn't be more pleased.
I have been going to Dr Rand for about 25 years. She is amazing!!!! Not only is she caring, she can diagnose skin disease almost by looking at it. She did do biopsy to be certain, but was always right in her initial diagnosis. I guess the only downside is the wait, sometimes. But that is common with any doctor, you never know what happened to the patient before you.
Dr. Rand is about the best dermatologist I've ever seen. Not only is she a great doctor - she listens, and is a kind compassionate person. As long as I am in Los Angeles, I'd never consider going to anyone else.Sam Friedman
Dr. Rand is probably the best dermatologist I've ever seen...

She's a great doctor, thorough, kind and compassionate, and best of all, she really listens to her patients.

I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Sam Friedman
All too often people only want to complain, so I promised myself after my last visit to Dr. Rand's that I would come home and say something positive. As a long time patient of Dr. Rand, I can honestly say that she is thorough, compassionate and knowledgeable. I have seen her for everything from a simple rash to cosmetic treatments, and I am always happy with the outcome. P.S. They just upgraded their skin care line, and it is amazing!
Dr Rand is great went in for a cosmetic procedure staff was really kind and great atmosphere
Dr. Rand is really good at what she does. I've seen her 3 times and found her personable and very open to my questions every time. It is a busy office, yes, but I never felt rushed. Her desk staff is attentive and I have never had to wait more that 5 minutes to be seen. I came in for a biopsy which turned out to be benign. She was recommended by my primary care physician and I'm a very satisfied patient.
