Don't get fooled with five stars shown on the google review. Look for the bunch of one stars for it. The Dr. P. is very polite and knowledgeable medical provider. The front desk bunch is the rood, and don't belong in there. They either don't like their job or not rained properly. This is the second incident that happened. First incident I shrugged off, and thought she could be new. HIPAA guidelines for reception area privacy was breached both instances. On first instance, the receptionist Ms. L verified insurance information, name and DOB in front of other patients and the ones waiting in line hearing all the conversation. It should have been done discreetly. Even better, the patient information should be done on the sign-in sheet limited to only necessary information such as the patient name, date, and time of arrival. Ms. L., looked agitated, and not in a good mood. Today, I saw pleasant Dr. P for my appointment. I went to check out at the reception. Ms. J. loudly mentioned information about my treatment and the next appointment in the reception area full of patients. I said, I will call and walked out. Patient information should never be discussed in public areas including reception. If there is a followup appointment, there is no need to mention what the appointment is for. This was a clear HIPAA violation. Ms. L., who is unaware of HIPAA, she said that the office manager will contact me. Perhaps the Office Manager should conduct annual self audits to assess areas of risk and provide front desk employees with guidance on the proper use and disclosure of PHI, and how to keep PHI private and secure, and how to report breaches affecting PHI. Also, making an appointment for office visit for someone else does not violate HIPAA as the receptionist thought. Booking an appointment for an office visit is like making a hotel booking or reserving a table at the restaurant.
My experience with Jill McCloud is wonderful, she listens and responds with great care.
The service was amazing! There wasn’t a long line when I got there. Probably around a 5 minute wait. The dermatologist that helped my daughter and I was super kind and easy to talk to. The ladies in the front were also nice and didn’t make us wait.
The staff was friendly, the wait was not long, Dr. Jill McLeod was awesome and Dr Kardashian did a great job on my Moe surgery.
Literally the rudest phone interaction I have ever had with a medical office. Glad dodged the bullet of making a mistake and becoming a patient. Go elsewhere! So many options that were friendly and informative.
Staff was professional and polite. I appreciated that they worked with my hectic schedule and for they took the time to make me feel comfortable and confident my concerns were addressed while in the office. Unfortunately when I left my appointment the communication stopped. I made multiple attempts to get my biopsy results and still have yet to receive my results or be contacted by staff even after multiple messages left.
They do really good work. Dr. Hill left no scar’s. He’s the best. Sorry I’m leaving California.
Friendly knowledgeable staff always able to get you in for appointments they have been my choice for many years Thanks Guys !!
Excellent tx.
Staff was friendly. Didn’t have to wait long to be taken to a room. Was asked a few questions before doctor came in. Dr visit was brief but took care of my concern . Prescription was called in to my pharmacy with no problems.
