The doctor is very unprofessional. He always talking about politics & trys to push his beliefs on you. My client has diabetes & in two years he hasn't checked her A1C. I'm very dissatisfied in him as a Dr..
I've been seeing Dr. Munro for the past few years. Happy with his medicine, but all I get is his lecturing about how bad the GOP is and that their science is BS. I thought after I told him on my last visit that I was on the right that he would tone it down. Went in for a visit today and got 15 minutes of the same old thing, maybe he didn't understand my message at that last visit. I will be looking for a new primary care doctor. I want a doctor not a lecture on what he believes.
Visits are never rushed. Munro has wide-ranging knowledge and explains things well. He has a wide array of specialists available for referrals.
Stay away from this place. Took only one visit to realize this person does not have our best interest. Only interested in being right and belittling others. Strangest experience I have ever had at a doctors office. I'm still shocked with how unprofessional he was.
I will NEVER go to this doctor again. My mother goes to this doctor so I went a few times and each time was HORRIBLE first of all this doctor's solution to everything was always to prescribe me a pill for it. I told him I was so stressed and Im scared its taking a toll on my body. He proceeded to prescribe me anti depressants. Never filled it because I hate pills. I told him I didn't want to and he filled it "just in case". He also proceeds to judge your line of work. Which is none of his damn business. Then another time I got in a car accident and I was so worried I ruined my shoulder. It hurt so damn bad and he said I'm not going to get you a cat scan because you didn't get rushed to the ER and just prescribed me anti inflammatory and said it would just go away. When I finally did get at least an x-ray I got the damn bill before the results!!!! Are you kidding me?! And then when I asked for my results the staff didnt even realize they never received the results from the other doctor. What the hell! I was so pissed. They dont even follow up but want the money. I finally got a cat-scan from another doctor and my rotary cuff was torn!!! So he is wrong and a pill pusher. He was too lazy to get a scan. He judges wether you can pay for it not if you need it. They are the worst practice I have ever been to. So un organized, judge-mental and a PILL PUSHER! Stay away he thinks just because he has rich patients all the time hes a good doctor but he is the worst doctor I have ever been to. The know it all that pushes pills for money. Hes going to end up in a documentary about a malpractitioner seriously. He lost my x rays and asked for the money before he got my results, then pushed pills on me and also judged my injury incorrectly. Which I have proof from the other doctor and all the history of prescriptions Dr. Munro tried to push and I never filled. He is the reason people avoid going to the doctor and end up putting it off and dying because they are so uncomfortable and feel judged going into the doctors. That is not his job. His job is to help and assist thats what I pay him. Which I just read another review and it looks like Dr Munro thinks hes too smart for cat scans! Not the first time he denied a patient what they asked for. He thinks he can judge your injury better. A boy could have died Dr Munro! Are you reading this?! You are the worst thing to hit the medical field. People are going to die on your watch..
The doctor was very friendly and had a good comunicación trying to understand my problem also solve fast and take my labs test without going any other lab.
What I find engaging about Dr. Munro is that he actually works WITH you. He listens, asks questions and factors in your feedback. You work with him in your your own care. He's proactive and tests when needed, and will explain why he doesn't test when it's not needed. I like his style and his availability.

Today I had an appointment for a physical review with Dr Munro. He choose to use my time in the room with him to go off for around 20 minutes on a political rant. The language he used and the terms he used I will not insult you by stating here. Finally he gained control of himself and said where should I send these prescriptions?. I said what prescriptions? He said for Prednisone and an antibiotic. Giving prescriptions to fill incase I get the virus???? I stood up and said Im going to find a new doctor and left the room. My advise would be no to become Dr Munros patient.

Dr. Munro surgically repaired a complete tear of my left rotator cuff (shoulder). I have completely recovered use of my arm and I am very grateful to his expertise.

Lets be clear, like teachers, if the patient receives input from the Doctor about his political ideology, shut the doctor up. The doctor issues medical advice not political input. How do I know? My wife who is care giving for a friend of our took the friend to the doctors appt. and Munro gave his input regarding the POTUS and WH. Nuff said

I feel compelled to write this review after reading some of the negativity. I'm a very healthy individual who rarely sees a physician. I'll certainly update my review as I see necessary, but at this point I'm happy to call Dr. Munro my physician. His offices are clean and I've enjoyed interacting with his staff.

Dr. Munro is or was a smart guy, and he has great credentials. He used to be a good doctor, but something bad has happened to his professional skills in or around 2013. Maybe its the stress of having his own office, or maybe its the frustration of dealing with insurance companies. The upshot: he is no longer a good doctor. He no longer is a good listener. He is remarkably arrogant and condescending. He is quick to criticize every other doctor and every new medicine on the market. Even so, he cannot formulate a treatment plan or follow through with a patients issue. (Example: my mothers case.) Dr. Munro seems weak on differential diagnoses. When it comes to a situation where there are several doctors involved, he does not coordinate with other practitioners. He and his office staff are awful at returning calls. Oh, and dont tell him about your marital woes; he will tell you to get a divorce ... and he will say the same thing to your spouse during your spouses appointment. Maybe hes being paid by the local family law bar. (Just kidding ... but seriously, since when does a family practice doctor advocate divorce?! Or separately counsel both spouses?! Thats a serious conflict of interest and professional breach. And then, theres do no harm ... ) Update: Dr. Munro took it upon himself to treat my stepsons migraines, rather than refer him to a neurologist. Dr. Munro declined to order any imaging studies, in spite of disturbing symptoms. On 09242019, my stepson presented at the emergency room with a brain bleed due to a hemorrhaging brain AVM. (My stepsons mom also had an AVM.) It will take a while before we will know the longterm/ permanent effects of the brain bleed. This lifethreatening development could have been prevented if only Dr. Munro had ordered the indicated imaging studies ... or had referred my stepson to a more qualified physician.
