Waste of your time and money....will do nothing to help your constant pain

I don't know what's going on with the negative reviews, but they wouldn't be further from the truth! Dr. Holmes and his PAs (Kristin and Ali) have been nothing short of incredible. After months of pain and treatments that didn't work, I saw Dr. Holmes. He greeted me with a big smile and took his time assessing my foot. He showed me in detail my MRI & X-ray and recommended surgery. Unfortunately I had to wait longer than I wanted due to a cortisone shot another doctor gave me. Dr Holmes explained why we had to wait and the risks if we didn't. His staff was wonderful answering all of my questions and returning phone calls within a day. On the day of surgery, Dr. Holmes and Ali explained to my husband and I the procedure, risks, and outcomes. He was very good with my husband who asks way too many questions. He even called me the next day and left me a very nice message to check in with me.I'm so happy to say that after 3 weeks post op, I'm progressing faster than expected. I absolutely recommend Dr.Holmes! You will not find a better foot & ankle surgeon! Thanks doc!!

I wish I could give this man no stars. Maybe he should go back to school & learn how to read x-rays & know what he is talking about instead of pretending he knows what he is doing! And stop portraying himself as a podiatrist when he is not, he is only an MD. I agree with Fast Eddie F 100%! "God Syndrome" means pompous, arrogant ass! And that is exactly what he is. He draws some lines on your foot & tells you he will get it fixed then when you leave he says you are ok to go back to work. Totally ignoring the fact the foot is still broken & the bones are thinning in that foot.

I'm not sure what the previous comment "God syndrome" is referring to, but if he means that Dr. Holmes is an incredibly intelligent man then yes, he has "God syndrome". 4 years ago I had a high ankle sprain that didn't quite heal right & have been walking around with a torn ligament since then. As one would imagine, I had pain in my ankle & very poor stability to the point where I would randomly fall after long periods of use (being standing, walking, running). The doctor I saw 4 years ago had an x-ray done & just from that concluded that a walking boot for 2 months would be good enough. Just recently I discovered a mass on the bottom of my foot that was also causing pain! I went to another doctor, who upon examination, discovered my extreme ankle instability & opted for surgery to remove the mass (which he had no idea what it was) & repair my ankle. However, I wanted a second opinion. I made an appointment with Dr. Holmes because he is a renowned foot & ankle specialist. I came to him with Mri & CT scan results & after looking them over told me what my problem was. He told me NOT to remove the mass because it's a benign tumor caused by something completely unrelated to the ankle & informed me if it was removed it would come back with vengeance, bigger & more of them & offered me helpful solutions for the time being. After a physical test he knew what it was right away & said if the pain doesn't go away within 2 years I'll need to have my entire Plantars tendon removed (but that's only extreme cases). For the ankle, he suggested Brostrom-Gould Ankle Ligament Repair surgery & that's what we did. I couldn't have asked for a more friendly & personable man. I'm in week 2 of 6 for recovery & couldn't be more excited to finally feel relief.. I thank GOD for letting me be able to find someone as knowledgeable as him, & I don't mean the doctor himself (God syndrome (; ).
